Image pack on SERP

SOLVE

Hi HubSpot Community! 👋

Does someone remember when these extended image packs in SERP features appeared? Is it a new feature or not?

As far as I remember, there were always one-line image packs, and without these little tags above (pets, small, background, etc.

Hey @LGayazetdinova not sure how this is related to HubSpot tbh but I do agree!

It's all a bigger part of the "walled garden" approach every platform is taking.

Google is designed now to serve you the content it wants you to see and not the content it thinks you want to see. Hence why you no longer get product reviews, but affiliate sales when you google a product now!

It's the outcome of a search engine designed to encourage advertising and ultimately what a lot of us deserve for being "seo" advocates.

I read a great article about it today which you might find interesting! https://www.wired.com/story/tiktok-platforms-cory-doctorow/
