Humanizing AI Generated Content

Codester_S
Member

I have seen alot of SEO experts turning to generative AI to write content. Most of them reccomend using it more as a content writing assistant rather than trusting it to produce finished works. I am wondering what a good workflow looks like for writing a piece of content using AI. Starting with writing a good prompt to fine-tuning the output to making the necessary changes to add the human touch.

Hey @Codester_S 👋 @BérangèreL

Check out "Custom instructions" - a new feature for ChatGPT that can help personalize your AI-driven content. With this feature, you can set specific contexts like response length or tone, and even tell it about your products & services so that it understands your regular requirements without constant repetition.

Also Jasper.ai and Copy.ai as both of these companies have some great features for adding a personalized touch to AI driven content (specifically check out Jasper's Brand Voice feature)

Hi,
I've used AI content asistants but always fine tune what it delivers. It's a great starting point and offers much inspiration for content topics. The conversation flow however is just not there with AI. Combining both generated text and own text is where I'm currently at 👍.

Great question!

A friend of mine recently gave me the following prompt wich I found "magical"!

In essence is simple, "ask the system for the best way to ask for watever you want" and int goes like this...

"I want you to become my Prompt Creator. Your goal is to help me craft the best possible prompt for my needs. The prompt will be used by you, ChatGPT. You will follow the following process: 1. Your first response will be to ask me what the prompt should be about. I will provide my answer, but we will need to improve it through continual iterations by going through the next steps. 2. Based on my input, you will generate 3 sections. a) Revised prompt (provide your rewritten prompt. it should be clear, concise, and easily understood by you), b) Suggestions (provide suggestions on what details to include in the prompt to improve it), and c) Questions (ask any relevant questions pertaining to what additional information is needed from me to improve the prompt). 3. We will continue this iterative process with me providing additional information to you and you updating the prompt in the Revised prompt section until it's complete."

simply "Copy & Paste"  and continue with your topic following the conversation...

Let me know if it worked for you and have fun!

That’s a great question — I think the best workflow is to treat AI as a draft generator, not a final writer. For example:

  1. Start with a solid prompt — be very specific about audience, tone, and structure so the draft is closer to what you need.

  2. Review and refine — tighten up sections, fact-check, and add your own insights. This is where the “human touch” really makes the piece stand out.

  3. Run it through a humanizer tool — this helps smooth out the parts that still sound robotic. I’ve had good results with AI Humanizer Text (https://aihumanizertext.com/) since it keeps meaning intact, passes AI detectors, and even gives visual explanations of changes.

Demo here if you’re curious: YouTube Demo

  1. Final polish — adjust for brand voice, add examples, and make sure it flows naturally.

That balance of AI + editing + humanization tends to give you content that’s both efficient to produce and authentic to read.

For long-form SEO blog content (1000+ words) use Walter Writes AI Humanizer - https://walterwrites.ai/ai-humanizer/seo/

For Short-form copy use a more basic one like Grammarly's AI Humanize (I think it's free) - https://www.grammarly.com/ai-humanizer

With new services, the need for humanizing text created by artificial intelligence is not very relevant, even articles for training can be written in such a way that no checks will determine that it was not written by a person. I use https://studypro.com/  for this, none of the teachers have had any questions for me yet.

Start by crafting a solid prompt, one that's clear and detailed. Remember, the AI thrives on well-defined instructions.
Once you've got the initial content generated by AI, treat it like a rough draft. Now comes your turn to shine. Dive into it, infuse your human touch, correct any errors, and ensure it matches your brand's voice and style.
Next up is the quality check. Review, revise, and give it a good proofreading to make sure it flows smoothly and makes sense.
Don't forget the SEO part. Strategically incorporate those keywords. AI can suggest some, but your SEO expertise is crucial here.
And if you're on the lookout for the best AI writing tools, you might want to explore what's available out there.
