How long did it take your traffic to recover after a major update?

Hello everyone,

After the previous core upgrade, I noticed a significant drop in organic traffic on one of my client sites, particularly on pages that had been ranking steadily for months. We tightened content and strengthened internal links, but the recovery has been gradual.

How long did it take your website to recover after a significant update? Did you do anything in particular to make it move faster?

Can you please specify what type of upgrade occurred? Was this a Hubspot subscription upgrade or something different?

It really depended on what the penalty was for. Are you using any SEO tools like SEMrush, Moz, Ahrefs, etc. to monitor your SEO? If not, I would recommend it as there could be more than tightening of content or strengthening of internal links that is needed to rebound.
