How do I improve the SEO ranking of a website?

Hi Karsten!

I work at a small cafe/wine bar. I am trying to help them with their marketing in person and online. Their online presence is quite weak. I am aware to avoid filler key words, but what would you recommend to use in order to increase our presence/ranking when the city we are in has the most cafes per capita? It is a battle.

SEO is incredibly important for your business and website. There is no quick fix for ranking higher in search engine results pages – but a lot of great resources which outline the techniques:
