Google Search Console Verification

Hi,

I am trying to integrate our Google Search Console and keep getting an error message when clicking add for our main website. It says "Hubspot Could Not Verifiy Your Site" with a link to Google Search Console to verifiy. 

When I am in GSC, all of the options are verified, including the same domain that I am trying to add in hubspot. Does anyone know what I am doing wrong?

I have successfully added subdomains, but can't get the main site on there!

Do you have full access or are you an owner? Also, how did you originally verify your website and GSC?

Thanks for coming back to me on this! We are the owner and we verified it with an html file.
