Different Domain for a country, 302 redirect, is it ok or not ?
SOLVE
Hello
Here is the problem, my country is filtering my domain every 6 months and since I'm getting all my traffic through google search I need to change my domain every 6 month in search console so my users can have access to my new domain
now I did something different and I don't know is this good to do or not I need your help with this
I've bought two domain, Example.Com and Example.Net and connected them both to a single website ( both of them working fine )
Example.Com ( This is my main domain which google can see and index it like before )
Example.Net ( this is my second domain which I want to redirect my country users to it and I've done some custom code to noindex it and created a seperate robots.txt to pervent bots crawling it )
I've created a 302 redirect on cloudflare to redirect my country users from Example.Com to Example.Net
Why I did this ? because when my country is filtering my domain only my country users can't have access to my website but google bots does, so everytime I needed to change domain, I did this so I don't need to change my domain on search console and lose a lot rank everytime, I only need to change my country domain
but now since I've implemented this I've got a click drop on my main search console
and here is my question
Is it ok to do this at all ?
will google knows I'm doing 302 redirect to another domain which is noindexed ? since google doesn't have any bots in my country ( I'm sure about this )

Hi @AghaFarokh this isn't something I've run into previously and I imagine it would be specific to your country and situation. My recommendation would be to ask ChatGPT or Google's Gemini the same question you've posted here, but include more detail about your specific country and domain so you can try to get more insight.

Using a 302 redirect to manage access based on the user's country can harm your SEO. Google may view the temporary redirect as manipulative, potentially lowering your site's ranking. The click drop in your search console suggests this strategy is problematic. Additionally, having a noindex directive on the redirected domain (Example.Net) could confuse Google, affecting your main domain's indexing. Instead, use a consistent domain strategy and Google's geotargeting tools in Search Console to manage regional access. I am using this solution to inasaldiningprices.com a great source of fast food click here to see. This approach avoids SEO issues and maintains a stable ranking and user experience.
