DNS settings for a third-level domain

Hi, we need to set the DNS for a third-level domain (being hsm.utimaco.com) to work with our WordPress site which resides at hsm.utimaco.com. We will be using HubSpots' Blog, Landingpages and Forms to start with. A Cname will reroute all, can you inform us what the right procedure is to set the DNS corretly?

Hi @miesvanlies

Your WordPress website and HubSpot hosted content cannot exist at the same subdomain (i.e. hsm.utimaco.com), since they are physically and logically in different places.

Indeed, applying a CNAME to a subdomain will direct all website traffic to one destination.

Instead, you will need to create one or more new subdomains at your DNS and apply the HubSpot CNAME to those - people commonly use subdomains like blog. or content.

Hope that helps.

Hi Phil, thank you for your reply. We indeed managed to create a correct DNS like that.
