Whenever I run out of ideas, I prefer to walk alone. Sometimes an idea pops up in my mind. However, this process does not work every time! It just comes randomly sometimes.
Thanks for the tag @PamCotton! I agree @FSourov, the creative process and overcoming blocks can look different for us all, and it can look different at varying times for us within our own experiences.
A few ways I try to foster creativity:
Let my mind wander. Walks without anything playing in my headphones, opening my mind up during motorcycle rides or even in the shower (have you seen the "shower notepads" they sell?!).
Journaling. This can help clear a mind, and also provide you with material later.
Consistency. Going through a routine in a specific place to settle in can help. I've read how some writers write no matter what, and at specific times. That can help to build the muscle of creativity.
Consuming content. Ideas can come from anywhere. There's great writing in songs, cool concepts in TkTok videos, and amazing ideas in fiction writing. Look for inspiration and cross-pollinated ideas all around you.
Curious to see what others do, too!

I swear every time I get stuck on something I come up with a solution the second my head hits the pillow at night haha. One of those I need to remember this for tomorrow.
I think for me one of the things that helps is moving between different tasks when I get stuck and avoiding hitting my head against the wall all day. That little break and gap can be what I need to come up with a creative solution, more so for the very complex issues. I also like really exploring different features when I have time in HubSpot to try and learn more about them so that I am better armed to come up with future ideas.
Sorry if this was badly written as I haven't had my morning caffeine yet.
The creative process is a dynamic journey that involves generating ideas, developing them, and refining them into something meaningful. It starts with inspiration, followed by incubation, where ideas subconsciously develop. Then here comes the "aha" moment of illumination, leading to active creation. Finally, the work is refined and evaluated. While these stages provide structure, creativity thrives on flexibility and growth.

I can relate! The creative process is a fascinating journey, and I find great ideas when I go to yoga or have some time to journal and I need inspiration. It's fascinating how ideas materialize out of nowhere during those moments.
I'd love to hear everyone else's strategies for overcoming creative blocks. What tricks do you have up your sleeves when the ideas need to flow more smoothly than you'd like? @danmoyle, @JustinPerkinsC, @Lucila-Andimol any recommendations?
Thank you,
Pam
