To determine the success of your content, you have to set goals and track the metrics that make the most sense for your business. This could be page views, conversions, and so on. Keeping this in mind, which metrics matter most to your business and why? Tell us in the comments below.
Presently, I monitor web page traffic metrics (page visits, page views, referral sources, keywords, bounce rate, visit duration) social media metrics (likes, comments, views, shares), and conversion metrics (lead sources and close rate).
Conversions and engagement, we are a COD (Cash on delivery) Business that sells different products to customers, and to determine the success of our campaigns is by getting conversions.
I don't have my business set up yet (I'm doing this course in advance), but I imagine that once I do, website-related metrics like bounce rate and cart clicks will matter most. I also hope to set up a newsletter, so I will measure metrics related to that. Socials, I plan to measure engagement-related metrics, reach, and probably also clicks.
