I don't have my business set up yet (I'm doing this course in advance), but I imagine that once I do, website-related metrics like bounce rate and cart clicks will matter most. I also hope to set up a newsletter, so I will measure metrics related to that. Socials, I plan to measure engagement-related metrics, reach, and probably also clicks.

We track a healthy mix of pageviews, conversions (total and %), and submitted applications (auto loans, mortgage, etc.). Return on ad spend is something we look closely at, too.
We are a fast growing Tech startup that has created our own Mobile App, and is the only source of use for consumers to use our services. Therefore, the main metric we're always tracking is campaign to App Download metrics - after all, if App downloads arent happening & that is how consumers use our service, nothing holds greater value.
