Every content creator goes through this. What's the best thing to do to when the content you yourself are writing isn't engaging you.

I have been through similar days as you. But, as a writer, what I focus on is first developing the draft. And then going back to proofread everything to weed out unnecessary information while removing grammar errors. Eventually, I start a fresh research, change keywords to see the results of the research, and then see what others are writing. I then change certain things in my draft accordingly. Again, I proofread to remove disjointed sentences.

Nice advice @RusyShah06. Thanks:)

Definitely been there. I usually try to start writing anyway ...the goal is to keep momentum, not quality so I aim to finish a draft and come back the next day to review and edit if needed.

That's a good advice @huonghtd. I think compromising with the quality(only for that specific phase) is bearable.

The worst thing is to wait for inspiration or conditions to start writing. instead, I focus on building processes and applying strategies that help me write even when I don't feel like it.

True. Waiting for inspiration is something that can take an eternity. If it's not a super-secret, can you tell what strategies you use?

Just start writting, even if its gibberish or doesn't have anything to do with the content. Eventually, your mind will start pushing out ideas.

That's a good tip to keep going. @ImJustinAndrsn. I'm trying it.

Let me know how it works for you.

Something that has always helped me was rereading what i previously wrote and brain storming off ideas that i never finished then.

That's a great tip. I'll try it. Thanks @jbecpham

Great advice, @jbecpham! It's always easier to build off of something that you've already started than feel like you're starting from scratch!

Time to step back and go do some reading, especially something outside Marketing or Sales, check Pinterest, watch a movie (or 3), go out, take a walk, etc.
Sometimes the mind needs a refresh.

Going outside and taking a walk is how I like to give my mind a refresh! @milcapeguero

Yeah, I love it. Also, I find out that while I'm waiting my turn in "ANY" place, my mind suddenly starts creating ideas. I need to bring my sketchbook every time with me.

Thanks @milcapeguero for these tips.
You're right that you should read something outside marketing or sales. I think that's what I need.
