Having a process also allows you to think of ideas that may not be easily apparent. What's one thing you do to help come up with new ideas? How can you incorporate this into a repeatable framework (for yourself as well as those you collaborate with)?
One major thing I always do as I name it " Sweat the details", is simply research as much as I can about it.
This applies to all spheres of life
Sweat the details has been my motto forever.
For example, you need to make a post for an Influencer
I not just research the post's topic but also the influencer, how he/she has been posting so far, what design has been consistent in his/her post, etc to give utmost satisfaction to the client.
(Important)
But I do refrain from using what the influencer has previously used if the topic has absolutely no connection or it is just awkward for the topic to have the design or format.
Researching and looking for inspiration is effective way for me to come up with original ideas, also reading and resting helps me generating ideas out of nowhere.
One way I come up with new ideas is while I am running or walking on the treadmill. I want to make sure everything is organized to prevent last-minute stress. I want to ensure everyone has time for a social life outside of work.
My creative proccess is when I start a new content project I start creating every single idea I have good or bad. Being able to visualize the content helps me improve my original ideas, or even come up with a completley new idea.
My creative process starts with writing down any topics I have off the top of my head. Then I will look into the latest trends/fads happening in the beauty industry. Finally, I look at my competitors to see what they are talking about, that way I can add my two cents to the conversation.
Having a process allows me to think of ideas easily but sometimes I ran out of ideas. In that case, I would love to take a walk, go outside and take a cup of tea and sometimes I ask my friends and colleagues to help me out of this. I always took note when an idea came to mind.
When it first comes to a subject, I take my time to completely comprehend the phrase. When these ideas come to mind, I would then jot down as many as I could. I would adore taking a walk, running, or doing something soothing if I ran out of ideas. I would always carry a notebook while doing this in case something new occurred. I would then return and conduct additional research on my ideas after my walk. Additionally, I would love to speak with my friends or colleagues to get their opinions.
I do my best to learn as much as I can when I can. I will be watching a show and have an idea that is derived from the show that would work for a project I am working on. My brain is malleable by what it takes in and that translates when it comes to crafting new branding and content ideas. By creating a consistent schedule, I could more effectively incorporate this practice.
