What's your creative process?

Having a process also allows you to think of ideas that may not be easily apparent. What's one thing you do to help come up with new ideas? How can you incorporate this into a repeatable framework (for yourself as well as those you collaborate with)?

My main field of content has been in music journalism and promotion so this is an interesting one to ponder. Some of my research comes, of course, from general appreciation but a lot has came from studying the nature of creation. From talking with many successful musicians and artists I have learned that a constant thread with them is a natural curiousity and being cogniscent of if their message is intended for the masses or personal fulfillment.

Oh, also my main "a-ha" moments are dog walks for whatever reason.

I do lots of research around my niche. Most helpful ideas come when I'm doing chores or bathing, then I quickly write them down and organize them later.

Reading articles from my competitors is a good way for me to come up with new ideas. I spend 20-30 minutes every morning after getting up to look for and read materials, which is hugely helpful to drive me into working mood and get new ideas consistently every day.

Those new ideas will be then written down and sorted in my notebook in my own way that can help me easily and quickly find them whenever in need. I rarely use online tools for storing ideas as I love writting rather than typing plus I feel the former is more convenient for me, especially during a power outage. 😂

The thing I can do for coming up with new ideas is doing research in a consistent process. To do that I will follow different kinds of educational and informative channels related to my niche, and other influencers, competitive marketers, and social blogs in my daily routine. This regular practice will help me generate new ideas, and update my resource of knowledge. And whenever I'll get new ideas will keep updating them in the sheet and  share them with the team I'll be working with; others will do the same and by this process not only we can share ideas, also will expand our knowledge and keep updating our whole content management

First, I define the topic I want to search for. Then I do my research in different types of information (articles, podcasts, blogs, youtube videos) and write down notes in my notebook. After a couple of hours or even days I get back to my notes and try to connect and develop them into something more complete.

I subscribe to industry newsletters to keep on top of what other people are talking about and what seems to be generating the most interest. I can create a divide and conquer startegy where different team members are assigned various newsletters and new ideas are placed into a shared google doc for consideration for content for the upcoming month's ed cal.

Firstly, doing reasearch , gathering all information from diffrent perspective to get inspired and then just relaxing. Based on my knowledge ,the state "flow " or even a deep relaxation  usually achieved in meditation helps you (creators) reach brain waves Theta that are associated with creative process. Other mental exercice is brainstorming .

Personally, I will read articles, books, blog posts, and anything related to the character of the brand. Then, I will conduct a daily meeting with my team where I will present my ideas for the upcoming week's articles, hence, seeking my team's responses in return. Through the process, the whole team will agree on the topic being chosen at the end, which will decrease the chance of conflicts occurring while the team is working. Moreover, I would also encourage my team to be as creative as possible, in other words, even the most impractical ideas should be presented.

I will apply the "tree branch" ideas generating technique, in which lots of ideas are put out, then analyzed and removed until the last tree branch (which is the last idea).

In order to have ideas , what I do is a series of questions through my social networks about problems that may arise and that with my work I could solve , I carry out research on possible solutions already made and start from this by adding new technologies and implementing the new.

One thing that I do is to read content from interesting people that I follow on LinkedIn. From there, it's an easy step to reshare that content on my LinkedIn company page and showcase pages, or on similar properties on Facebook, or even in my own blog.

I usually day dream and think of topics for content. With a little help I can weave thoughts already imagined and come up with new ideas. When I have a new idea I should write it down.

I carry a sketchbook with me constantly. I try to sketch each day and some of my best creative ideas come to me while sketching!

When I am relaxing or having downtime, I naturally create better and brighter ideas. Whether its laying in bed, or in the shower or listening to music, these are the times I start to become creative and I lock onto great ideas that I begin to work on.

In the beginning I struggled a lot on the process of generating ideas.
Not only for the amount but also for the time I needed to execute one that could work.
Because of that I did a Design Thinking course. That alowsed me to structure and create an eficient process for idea creation.

For me, I like to do research on a topic, brainstorm a few different ideas, and then wait to come up with ideas. This way, I do not need to stress out coming up with a specific topic and make sure that I have enough time for working on the project I need to complete
