Having a process also allows you to think of ideas that may not be easily apparent. What's one thing you do to help come up with new ideas? How can you incorporate this into a repeatable framework (for yourself as well as those you collaborate with)?
Me, I played mozart music. It helps me think orderly. It seems my mind has working to make me think clearly. No wonder if I played mozart music my kids went out cold quick.
For me, I usually come up with ideas when I'm lying in bed and getting ready for bed, it's hard to put into a process, I think I'll prepare ideas ahead of time if time is tight. I think I'll try a few more ways.
I conduct research first and try to understand the topic better. Following that, I brainstorm ideas, take a break, and then come back to the process with whatever ideas might have come to me during my time away from work. I didn't realize that this was a well-known ideation process until taking this course.
For me it start with a excellently brewed glass of black coffee. Following with writing, writing & writing. For 45 minutes every morning I write. I don't care about anything I just have to write it down on paper. And usually in the exercise idea comes to me. I write down the idea in my diary and then I move to start reading.
I usually do some research and gather some notes. Then, based on the information that I collect, I will create a mindmap, which will allow me to have various ideas and topics. I'll then send it to my team for feedback and draw up an outline. Afterward, I'll input the information into my content calendar.
One thing I do to help me come up with new ideas is smoking weed by myself either in a small room or outside with scenery to nhelp me enjoy nature. I can incorporate this by making sure to write down important ideas I come up with on my phone so nothing is forgetten, then send these ideas to people in my business to get their perspectives
One thing I do to come up with new ideas is by conducting a research on the topic itself. Write down important statements and questions that I encounter. I usually go to ask.com, Google, and Quora to see how society view this subject, the relationships that this subject has on other areas in life, and really come to an understanding of the topic and its roles. After understanding it, I will write down different creative concepts and words, and freely brainstorm for a period of time. A break is necessary for me before going to the second step which is finalizing the idea and test run that idea to different people to see if the message is clear.
In order to generate ideas for my website, I usualy gather information 2 months prior updating it. This helps me to understand, edit and review the content and provide the best for the audience.
Research. I try and do as much research as possible and check out my competitor's work as well. If it isn't resonating with me I try and find ways to fi it thus getting an idea for my own
This website allows you to see what questions people are asking about a particular keyword. This helps me to create content that will answer specific customer questions and come up with a general idea of what people are wanting to know about a particular topic
Market research trends ,topics and keywords within your particular niche and create content that is authentic and aligned to myself and brand. However, quite a few of my topics come from "aha", light bulb moments as well.
Quite surprisingly, my new ideas come when I am out of my work, especially, during conversations with my family and going outside for a walk to buy groceries.
Personally, the new ideas come to me not cause I think about them! I try to not stress myself with the content but ideally have a mind mapping of what the content should depict and I write it in Goole Keep. When I'm certain of the mapping, I picture my content as a story and when it makes perfect sense, I put it on the paper. That's not to it! When I read aloud my content, I'd know the flaws or the magic I have missed to make it appealing. And after a while, I would get the Eureka moment! That's when I include the few changes to come with a final copy!
