What's your creative process?

Having a process also allows you to think of ideas that may not be easily apparent. What's one thing you do to help come up with new ideas? How can you incorporate this into a repeatable framework (for yourself as well as those you collaborate with)?

I've not really created contents but I sure have done assignments. My creative process is going through different articles and watching different videos so as to under the assignment and come up with new answers or solutions. More like compile the things I've read and summarise them into one.

What's your creative process?

Most of the time I think about it deeply so the answer is to read more and also to make researches about the content you want to share with your audience.

the last time I thought to create something creative, was when I played on my guitar, making my new music. I spent coutless times playing random notes on my guitar. When I found something ineteresting, I recorded it. I repeated what I did. Listened to all my recording. Combine all the stuffs into a new song I like. Conclusion: It was a random process

I would say, To generate content Ideas, I just do a kinda lazy research on all Topic related to the kind of content that I want to create.

And also watch video or read from those who work I can get ideas from

My creative process is usually consuming a lot from things like movies, history, mythology social media or novels even things like anime or manga, even music, any form of media I find interesting registers in my head and gets recalled unconsciously when I'm doing random things

Most times, I just watch videos of my mentors online, read stories, articles, or blogs.
Also, I practically stalk (in a good way tho😂) other thought leaders in the field and I just get some kinda inspiration. I read practically every one of their contents that I can find (lol).

What's your creative process?

The one thing i do to help come up with new ideas is to have a talk/meeting with my graphic designer and my friend (mentor, really) that is a fellow digital marketer. They serve as a second and third eye to what i am doing and point out areas that could use an improvement. I think it always helps to touch base with your team every month end to rub minds and discuss what works and brainstorm new ideas for the next month.

My creative process is just me doing the things I like doing

Example: I scroll through social media apps

Take walks around

Always with my phone to write down notes

I go to health blogs and read articles from there

Google Scholar to see recent research updates that'll interest me

My process of writing revolves around few steps:

I learn the topic for around 1 hour

and then leave my phone, leave the work and do the most random things like going to a grocery store or nature walk.

This allows me to clear my head and build a space for new ideas

I do a gospel podcast, so i grasp every opportunity to read / listen to the Bible, or other gospel materials. Ideas always come from there.

Woah🤭

Great to know that someone else uses the bible stories and teachings as an inspiration as well.

The scripture is really a treasure!

Conversation over trending topics always gave me new topics to think about. When people around me share any concerns, complaints or any interesting opinions, it lights up new thoughts. Noting down such scenarios saved number of my hours searching for creative topics. Also visualizing these perspectives at different angles ignites me sometimes to deep dive into the creative process

Hi @nsprm,

Welcome to the Community!

That’s such a powerful approach! I totally agree that conversations and real-life perspectives spark some of the best ideas. Not only does listening actively help us discover fresh topics, but capturing those moments in the moment really streamlines the creative process. Viewing things from multiple angles can lead to some surprising breakthroughs. Thanks for sharing your method!

I find it helps to get up and away from my desk...to walk around, outside if possible, maybe even do a lap around town, engaging with people I meet along the way. Often these interactions spark ideas I wouldn't have come up with on my own. Conversation also creates opportunities to ask questions of people about what they need, what kind of support would help them tell their story, or what's missing in their current environment that might help propel things forward. Even if our spheres of influence may be different, there are often commonalities that tie our work together and the import it has within our circles and for the broader communitiy. Then bringing these ideas from the field back to the office and sharing them with my colleagues more often than not generates some valuable starting points.

MY PROCESS OF CONTENT CREATION

Sitting quietly or relaxing is my process of creating content. At the first step I usually  just think about the trendy ideas  in the surroundings and pick one of them, and step by step execution after completion of it,  I just sit quietly at one side of the room, which is like  a  break, and then researching  about the content  then relaxing after completion of my work I just edit the whole content

I sit in a silent place with coffee, and it will bring me ideas, and I note them down and start implementing step by step with our teammates

Maybe go to the coffee shop with my husband and chatting to him about the global financial market and our future plan. After that, something are coming up in my mind.

During the early morning or evenings, alone with myself I generally observe the nature and ponder my mind into little things. Eventually something comes up in my mind, I try to take note of it.

One thing I do to help come up with new ideas is carve out some "alone" time to go for a walk or run. It's key for me because this step is so easy to skip, yet it's the step that bears the most fruit for me.

As a pharmacist I'm curious to read about food, plants and their effects on health. I like to read and listen to others about their point of view in each topic then I make my own research. I didn't start my own content yet but I write my ideas that pop into my mind from now then I will work on it soon.
