Having a process also allows you to think of ideas that may not be easily apparent. What's one thing you do to help come up with new ideas? How can you incorporate this into a repeatable framework (for yourself as well as those you collaborate with)?

What's your creative process?
My creative process centers around a mix of structured brainstorming, free-flowing ideation, and continuous refinement. One key method I use to come up with new ideas is "mind mapping"—a technique that allows me to visually explore connections between different concepts, themes, or problems. This helps me break free from linear thinking and explore unconventional solutions.
Steps in my creative process:
Define the Goal/Problem: I start by clearly identifying the objective—whether it’s a content idea, a marketing campaign, or a new project. This sets the direction and ensures I’m focused on achieving a specific result.
Mind Mapping: I create a mind map around the central theme or problem, jotting down related ideas, keywords, and possible solutions. I let the mind map grow organically, adding branches as new ideas come up. This helps uncover connections I might have missed through traditional brainstorming methods.
Research & Inspiration: I expand the mind map by incorporating research or looking at how others have approached similar ideas. Inspiration might come from competitor analysis, industry trends, or even unrelated fields.
Filter & Prioritize: After gathering ideas, I sift through them to prioritize the most impactful or unique concepts. This helps me focus on ideas that will resonate most with the target audience or the project’s goals.
Refinement & Iteration: I continually refine ideas based on feedback, testing, or new insights. This process involves adapting the idea to better align with the audience's needs or the project’s objectives.
Execution: Once the idea has been honed, I begin executing the plan, staying flexible and open to adjustments as the project progresses.
Incorporating this into a repeatable framework:
For Myself: I regularly set aside time (perhaps weekly) to go through this mind mapping process for upcoming content, campaigns, or projects. I can use digital tools like Miro or Notion to create interactive mind maps, which makes the process more efficient.
For Collaboration: When working with teams, I can organize group brainstorming sessions where everyone contributes to a shared mind map. This promotes creativity and ensures diverse perspectives are considered. Afterward, we can filter and prioritize as a group, ensuring alignment.
Incorporating mind mapping into a repeatable framework creates a clear, creative workflow while allowing for constant improvement and collaboration. It's about balancing structure and flexibility.
One thing I do to come up with new ideas is to start with brainstorming sessions using mind maps. I take a central concept or theme and expand it into branches of visuals, moods, key messages, and potential scenes. This helps me explore ideas that may not be obvious initially while staying connected to the project's core purpose.
To make this process repeatable and collaborative, I incorporate the following framework:
Define the Objective: What’s the goal of this content? (Story, message, audience, medium).
Mind Mapping: Use a visual mind map to brainstorm ideas. I start with a central theme and expand into creative branches (story beats, visuals, tones). Tools like Miro or Canva can make this collaborative.
Research and Inspiration: Gather references (films, visuals, music) to spark creativity. This step fuels fresh ideas and keeps the project inspired.
Refine and Prioritize: I narrow down the ideas to what’s feasible, compelling, and aligned with the goal.
Feedback: Share the framework or draft ideas with collaborators for input.
By using this clear, repeatable process, I ensure creativity is organized, collaborative, and effective, allowing every project to start with a solid foundation of ideas.

Consuming information from various topics, work out in the gym for about an hour. This always, and I mean always results in a flood gate of creative ideas, and even sollutions.
My creative process involves a peaceful environment with my favorites musics. Then i will walk for a few minutes, talk to family and meditate and free my mind from everythings.
My creative process often involves minutes and hours of brainstorming to arrive at ideas, and I often get to work immediately. Whenever I feel stuck, I abandon the process for a movie, a walk, or any other activity that takes the burden off my mind. That almost always refreshes my mind for further action.
My creative process involves immersing myself in the peaceful environment of nature. I find that being surrounded by natural beauty and listening to the sounds of nature helps clear my mind and fosters inspiration. With a calm and focused mindset, I allow my thoughts to flow freely, which often leads to new ideas and perspectives. This tranquil setting enables me to think more deeply and creatively, allowing my best ideas to emerge.
One of my favourite ways to come up with new ideas is to rest my brain or engage in other activities. It helps me to come up with new ideas and ways to express and improve my content.
whenever I am free and I go to walk, I talk to myself and I think that's when ideas come into my mind. Also, talking to others is a great source of picking ideas.
I've always created best when it's quiet. Oftentimes that happens late at night when there's no TV, no people, no phone notifications. The quiet allows those quiet ideas to come through.
One thing I do to help my brain flow to think of new ideas is to do research on the idea that I'm looking to have creative ideas for. I also would seek for additional opinions and maybe seek for other ideas to be able to get more creative.
My creative process involves critical thinking and problem-solving skills, I apply these statagies a lot when I need to figuere out how something should be done when remodeling a house.
My creative process changes day-to-day, but I would often say I find ways to relax. Whenever I am calm, I often brainstorm the best. Whether it be going on a walk, working out or even just sitting outside, I often have my best ideas whenever I am not trying.
I am a firm believer that you shouldn't go through with an idea without getting at least a few opinions. I approach any situation with the mindset of "how can I improve?" and that has helped me not only improve, but become inspired as well.
