A successful content strategy should include a promotional plan that doesn't just share your content but strategically shares content with the people who will benefit most from it. Keeping this in mind, what's your business's most effective promotion channel and why? Tell us in the comments field below.

LinkedIn: If your content is B2B and solves professional pain points.

Email Segmentation: If you have deep data on your customers and can send a specific guide only to those who have shown interest in that exact topic

Niche Communities (Slack/Reddit): Where the "people who will benefit most" are already gathered to discuss specific problems.

My business's most effective promotion channel is Facebook because followers can chat in the group, follow our lives and interract with our posts.

While social media is great for reach, my most effective channel is Email Marketing because it’s the only place where you truly own the relationship and can deliver specific value directly to the people who actually asked to hear from you.

LinkedIn and Facebook rank highest in my top social media platforms. It has the audience that can easily understand and flow with my message and business.

Hi, I'm new to all of these

But in my opinion, I think LinkedIn and Facebook are the most effective promotion channel to strategically share content that'll resonate with people

As a freelancer, the businesses I represent changes all the time. While it should be quite obvious, I've found that different brands have different key audiences that have different personas and thus differing behaviours on various platforms. I've found that the 'best' platform can be a bit of a chicken-egg issue, where companies should look at where their key audience are, engage/post more there, and thus make it more effective - while still taking care to diversify on various platforms where appropriate.

So far facebook has had the most effective for sharing my content, not so much instagram at least not until you could include a link in stories, otherwise it was facebook because you could add a link to the content, although, organic reach is all but non existent now, so, but even paid so far it's been facebook for me, hope to change that sometime. Oh email was a great way to share my content as well, should probably revive that.

Ours would definitely be facebook, there are so many groups on there that we have joined and share our posts to - it's a never ending supply of new eyes on our page and definitely helps our reach

I think that my most effective promotion channel would have to be tik tok . I think it  is very easy to find my ideal customer using hashtags, visuals, and creative foms of content. It is also a place to reach my target audience.

My steps for promotion plan for kisakye light visuals {KLV}

Proof of Concept (The Show, Don't Tell Factor)

As a photography and videography brand, my marketing is my product. When l post a high-quality Reel or TikTok, l aint just telling people that l am good at video, l am  giving them an immediate, high-definition sample of my  work.

The Educational Authority Play

Content marketing is about providing value. For KLV, this means teaching my audience how to look better on camera or how branding impacts their bottom line.

SEO and Searchable Inspiration

Platforms like TikTok and YouTube are now used as search engines.

Visual Search: Potential clients often search for "Brand photoshoot ideas" or "Professional video styles 2026." By tagging your content correctly and using descriptive captions, KLV becomes the answer to their search query.

Hi everyone! I'd like to share some insights on my company's main promotional channels. I will be talking about the ABB company, and what I can see as a young marketer.

1. One of the main and strongest promotional channels is our own media, which is our website. Marketers around the globe in our company built really great content pillar pages and topic clusters for all business areas, divisions, products, and solutions where you can find downloaded content in different formats. I find this a good strategy since all websites are well optimized and have good design to navigate through.

2. Another promotional channel I can mention that is as strong as LinkedIn is since we post all the news for our stakeholders there. Posts are getting high engagement on every business area page.

3. Also, we have a confident attitude about hosting webinars online and seminars offline to engage with our customers.

I must say that, to be truthful, ABB is utilizing each promotional channel, from social media to customer events and email marketing, at specific stages of our buyer's journey.

OUr business's most effective promotion channel is facebook and Linkedin. I do believe it always depend on the type of business and whether it is service based or product based.

It would have to be social media, specially groups with a dab of word of mouth. Our gym has been in so many Mommy Groups we lost count. With that will also come word-of-mouth marketing. As our new customers trust us, they will reccommend us to others.

My brand's most effective platforms are TikTok and Instagram. For one, they are quick and easy, but also, our audience has shorter attention spans and is attracted to visuals and trending sounds. It also helps to make silly videos or anagaae in the comments.

My brand's most effective promotional channel as of now is the WhatsApp messaging app. We have an instagram and TikTok account but we aren't really getting much traffic there yet.
The reason why it's WhatsApp is because that was where we started years ago, built personal relationship with our customers, carried them along through our journey and now we reap the benefits because they willingly preach the brand to others.

Looking to achieve this with our other social media platforms as time goes on.

Facebook is the most effective promotion channel because some people are more active there and gives an honest reviews. It also allows to interact with a LOT of people through facebook groups and from there, a community is built.

Our most effective promotion channel is Facebook and Instagram, particularly Facebook, because that’s where our audience already is.

For NDIS participants, families, and carers:

  • Facebook is widely used for local community groups, recommendations, and support discussions

  • People actively look for trusted service providers, not just ads

  • Content can be shared easily by staff, families, and community members, which builds trust organically

Instagram supports this by:

  • Building brand credibility and visibility

  • Showing real-life support, values, and services through visuals and short videos

Together, these platforms allow us to:

  • Educate people about NDIS services

  • Address common pain points and confusion

  • Build trust before someone is ready to make contact

This makes social media the most effective channel for reaching the right audience at the right time.
