It seems, so far, that my company's most effective promotional channel has been through email marketing. We use LinkedIn a lot. We have a proprietary social media platform called PostBeyond. It feeds everyone in the company who checks it our most recent blogs, and offers an easy way to share to LinkedIn and Twitter with a personalized introduction to the blog pre-written. We can make it our own if we want, but it's the quickest and fastest way to share our content in a personalized way. Out of the public promotion channels on social media, I would say Facebook is the most effective one, only because the greatest amount of any given person's family, friends, and associates are on it. If you're talking business, I would change my answer to LinkedIn.
