The most effective promotion channel for my content brand Content by Lerato is Instagram. It’s a highly visual platform that allows me to showcase my beauty and lifestyle content through Reels, carousels, and Stories. It’s also where my target audience (brands and content consumers) already spends their time.

What makes it work so well is the mix of authentic visuals, engaging captions, and consistent interaction through DMs and comments. I also use hashtags and insights to improve my reach and tailor content based on what my audience responds to most.

I repurpose blog posts, UGC clips, and behind-the-scenes videos into shareable content on Instagram — helping me build trust and attract collaborations.
