What's your business's most effective promotion channel?

 

It's connecting with influencers who resonate with your brand. Allowing them to promote your product and use their video as a paid ad—of course, only if the influencer agrees to it in the contract and the revenue terms are clearly outlined.

I'm looking to create a content strategy for my brother's business, which is coworking spaces. It's B2B with clients such as entrepreneurs and small to medium size businesses as well as B2C with clients such as  individual remote workers and freelancers. 

The right channel is LinkedIn. Along with SEO efforts on website and Google sponsored ads, the online marketing becomes comprehensive.

LinkedIn business page: Create posts that directly drive value. E.g., photos of the coworking space emphasizing possibilities of networking with like-minded people; videos of clients getting settled into their coworking space along with their teams.

LinkedIn Profile: Engaging with the audience through leadership profiles. This way the brand gets a real human face and also the flexibility to engage with the audience through a mix of light-hearted posts, educational posts, and company-specific posts.

For my content strategy, the most effective promotion channel depends on the audience and content type. Right now, these are my top choices:
LinkedIn – Best for professional networking, sharing thought leadership, and building credibility in content marketing and Webtoon editing.
Instagram & TikTok – Ideal for visual storytelling, short-form videos, and engaging with a younger, content-driven audience.
Email Marketing – Great for nurturing leads, delivering value-packed content, and keeping an engaged audience.
SEO & Blogging – Ensures long-term discoverability by ranking high on search engines.

Organic social through Facebook and X/Twitter seems to be most effective, especially in terms of cost.  We have have some success with paid social.  Display ads and paid search rankings don't seem to do much, however.

To promote my content, I am probably likely going to use the mediums of Instagram and TikTok because my business is targeted towards the teen-to-young adult demographic. My content may also appear on relevant websites.

The content strategy also depends on the platform your targeted consumer spends most of their media time. I've noticed that a lot of the content stratey for younger generations, such as Millenials and Gen Z, are mostly on Twitter and Instagram. The language on Twitter is catchy, simple, and easy to understand. Instagram's platform allows for content to expand into video or photos. I remember seeing an advertisement from Beats on Instagram promoting their latest headphones featuring Lebron James and Lionel Messi. It used pictures, uploaded a reel using paid sports influencers to target sports enthusiasts.
