This includes everything from age, location, gender, or any other demographic. This is because, ultimately your entire content strategy will revolve around your audience, so you really need to know how to cater that audience as the first step. Not only will this make your content strategy more effective, but it will also make it less difficult, as knowing what type of content your audience consumes and enjoys and then making content for that is easier than making content first hoping to appeal to your core audience.
