Start small with your contextual marketing efforts. Use it sparingly in one area to begin with. Contextual marketing is an advanced marketing tactic. There are many ways to use it, and it’s easy to get overwhelmed with all the possibilities. Keeping this in mind, what advice would you give to someone looking to get started with contextual marketing?
Use wisely the properties which you got about the visitor. Don't show too much, try to be empathetic as possible. Test drive the content you created and delivered.
It is important to give user a personalised experience when they visit a website. Taking into consideration and evaluating the needs what a user wants, contextual marketing comes into play.
As they are beginning contextual marketing , i would suggest them to target their most profitable audience. Based on the data collected from the past sales or logins or any other performance indicators, they could cluster and filter out the group od audience that are regular, and offering a lot of revenue to the company. And personalizing the expericne for this set of audience would be even more beneficial and in case if there are any mistakes made in the strategy, considering the loyalty of these customers, we might not lose them. So target your most loyal customers first and based on that keep expanding ,is the advice I would give them.
Actually the way to concentrate your audiences to thei specific needs. Like your webiste is single niche like camera accessories or camera as people come to explore. But the way can be to hold their interest. First you can present some good images to them which can make them thinking that how did the take those photos. The they will go to search the way and after that they found the accessories or what device you used and how did you executated that. Then they may be interested to that item if their budget meets with that item. That can be the example of contextual marketing.
I guess the one that needed to be initiated for the contextual marketing is benchmarking into big impact websites and combining those information into what we are dealing with (our target audience), so that we can have options in tailoring the website into something much nicer and accurate.
think about what content will be valuable to your target audience and start to work from there. make sure that it's easy to navigate, easy to understand so they'll get what they need right away

What's an example of contextual marketing?
It is relevant to be helpful to visitors and let them have a good user experience and not personalize toomuch just for the sake of personalizing. Another is that to optimize content and to always show and put valuable content for the benefit of customers.
Make sure you know your buyers persona and have your segements in place. Making sure to optimize content for SERP and not to forget about first-time visitors by using default content. Your content should be available to anyone on their journey, and try to not over personalize your website.
