My SMART goal is to finish at least 3 content strategy related cources by december 31st this year. I've already initiated my journey with the Hubspot Content Strategy course.
I have many goals for myself in the future. My biggest goal is to end here at this university with a degree and a job or internship somewhere in New York City.
I have a few SMART goals I am working on presently I will list two.
First Goal
Complete my MBA by April 2024
Email the head of the business department to ask what courses I would need to take this year and Spring of 24 to reach my goal.
Developing a strategy to keep ahead or on top of course schedule.
Graduating early will enable me to get a few months in the workforce before I apply to Ph.D. programs
April 2024
Second Goal
Launch my website by September 2023.
Steps I would take that are specific, measurable, achievable, realistice, and timely are:
Develop a marketing strategy by March 2023
Write 10 blog posts for launch.
Write a draft for the about me page and have it reviewed by April 2023
Identify specific services by April 2023.
Purchase a domain and research free CMS and website hosting offered by Hubspot in the interim. Would consider upgrades as the business grows.
Complete 10 blog posts by June 2023.
Purchase domain name by July 2023
Complete about me and identify services by May 2023.
Have a logo created by July 2023
Reach out to Hubspot team to understand the do it yourself features of their CMS, Website, and blog so I can begin working with these platforms for the launch.
Use the month of August to review content strategy plan, blog post, website, and personas.
Launch Website inclusive of blog in September 2023
I will be generating $10,000 in monthly revenue before december 31st, 2022.
My steps to achieving this:
I'm currently identifying digital niches I could sell online.
When I find a product I will dive right into sales and marketing.
If I know a product is succesful or is generating revenue then I will continue to build a website around it.
I'll then use social media posts and funnels to drive organic traffic to my store.
After that I will scale out by adding more digital products, hiring someone for paid advertising, and open a free/subscription based communitie as a suplemental income where I could also hire a servere manager for communitie engagment.
S: I am working on creating 125+ videos for content on my Youtube channel, Glauben Amour. Each video is 5-15 minutes long and should create emotional appeal with the audience. All of my videos are scripted so there are a few steps I will need to take including script creation, editing, voice-overs, video creation, content planning/management, and publication.
M: I will measure success by using creating a quota of having 10 videos created a month, from the script creation to the publication stage (or pre-planned stage). I will use a variety of analytic tools to help me see what videos gain the most traction and to help guide me with the next set of videos for creation. Some analytic tools I will use are Youtube's Analytic Tool, HubSpot's Marketing Analytics, HubSpot's CRM Software, and Google Analytics to name a few.
A: My goal is to create and publish/schedule 10-12 videos a month. This will be done by completing 3-4 videos a week, and I will use freelancers as needed to ensure I reach this goal. Another goal is to gain 5,000 subscribers in this time frame by posting consistently, being active with my audience, and providing content for each step of my target audience's buyer persona stage.
R: Meeting this goal will help to increase followers and potential customers who want to learn more about skincare, while also establishing brand awareness in the industry. It will also allow me to be able to monetize my account to draw in funding.
T: My timeframe is 12 months. In this time frame, I will create & publish/schedule 10-12 videos a month, while actively responding to comments/questions. I will use consumer responses to help me plan future content that will better fit my audience's needs.
S (specific) : The long term vision will be to scale the business and make it a brand known to everyone.
M (Measurable): Through surveys and different analysis techniques we can found the target audience and measures of how to attract more audience towards the product.
A (Attainable): Make it work to achieve the goals
R (Relevant): Target the audience that is relevant to the product dont waste time in doing irrelevant work that serves no purpose at all
T (Timely): Everything should be done on its relevant timeline, if something doesn't seems good right now that doesn't mean that it is wrong its just the wrong timing
I am right now working as a real estate broker which I find it difficult to deal with. For that purpose, I figured out that going digital as the world is evolving is what I find the long term for achieving my goals.
I want to be self-employed as my goal. I am trying my best to navigate through the online platforms to start my online business and this calls as to why I am in this class; to become a content marketer and set up my own business.
