Setting marketing goals provides you long-term vision and short-term motivation. It helps you organize your time and resources so that you can make the most of your efforts. In the comments below, share a SMART goal you're working towards this year.
Extra credit: Share with everyone the steps you're making towards achieving this SMART goal.
My Smart goal is to launch an Instagram account within 20 days and in the next 6 months to reach 5000 followers consisting of ideal clients and generate constant inbound leads through it.
In six months, I would like to have added three certifications or skills to my resume. HubSpot's Content Marketing Certification will hopefully be one of them! I would also like to work towards a Google Analytics certification (I'm working on the advanced course right now.. eek), and I would also like to somehow work on my Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator skills. The only issue with the latter is actually *paying* for Adobe products, haha 🙂
My SMART goal is to make fruitful use of my smartphone to learn at least one digital skill. I want to be able to learn and earn money in the comfort of my home.
How to accomplish that: I will create a timetable Manuel to guide me on the time I spend on my phone and what i learn doing those time . I will give myself a stimulated time to finish learning a particular skill. This will help me to be consistent and be eager to want to learn fast .
The SMART goal can help us define what we want to achieve both long term and short term. Being specific in the short term can help you step closer to the long-term goal of the business, either targeted sales or achievement on branding. I would say to have a 3-month plan as a short term while 6-12 month plan can be flexible and adapted through times and business environment.
Completing the Content Marketing certification course by end of July 2022, then completing two more HubSpot Academy courses (likely SEO & Social Media marketing) by end of August 2022, in preparation for my upcoming move and job search in the fall.

2. Launch website by end of July 2022
Specific: I will launch e9 website by the end of July 2022

My current major goal is to build a strong online community that focuses on improving the overall health of my country, Nigeria, through health promotion activities and awareness campaigns. I intend to launch in August 2022, and before the end of that month, my goal is to produce a minimum of 15 content in that community.
My SMART goal is to dedicate two hours a day to completing this content marketing course before next week friday. This goal is smart, measurable, attainable, relevant and timely.
I've recently started a photography company, and my SMART goal is to book 3 photoshoots per week on a steady basis in the next 3 months. I focus only on sunset photoshoots, and I only do one shoot per week, so my focus is to book 3 shoots every week, and I give myself 3 months to get there.
My SMART goal for this week is to dedicate 2-3 hours a day to completing this content marketing course. This is measurable as the course is separated into sections (with timings). It's attainable as I'm giving myself the time necessary to complete it and some extra time if required.
