No 1: FINAL Edition of Raw Book (Oct 2021)
To have my maiden book "From RAW Meal To REAL Deal" - FINAL Edition(SG56) submitted for printing by 01 Oct 2021 (500 copies) and have all delivered by 15 Nov 2021.
No 2. Maiden Insurance Public Seminar (Nov 2021)
My maiden insurance seminar (physical/virtual) - to confirm the venue, date and time and get marketing out so as to have min 40 participants (for event due to constraint) or upto 100 if via FB Livestreaming.
No 3) Certified Usability Analyst (CUA- 23 Nov 2021)
To become Certified Usability Analyst (CUA) by passing the official examination on 23 Nov 2021

My SMART goal towards this year is to complete this Content Marketing course, knowing more about Digital marketing and taking up a good hobby.
Specific: complete Content Marketing course for a month, searching information about Digital Marketing to find the right way I do best for future career and take up a sport hobby and daily do exercise.
Measurable: done all almost 80-90%
Attainable: spend 2h/day learning the course, 1-2h/day searching and 1h/day do exercise.
Relevant: to help with my Marketing major at university and be ready for the internship next year.
We are a book publisher and work closely with authors on marketing, promotion and sales of their books. A SMART goal of ours is to launch a 4 day "Find Your Ideal Reader" challenge by 10/15/2021. We run an Authors Mastermind Facebook group of just under 2,000 writers.
The steps were taking are as follows:
outline the challenge and how it will be presented (completed)
figure out a presentation platform to host the challenge & we decided thinkific.com. (completed)
create and organize the challenge content, both written and video (80% complete)
promote the challenge with both paid and organic traffic, including content marketing (not yet started)
launch the challenge (coming 10/15/2021)

My goal: Finish the book "Sapiens". S - Finish the book in 3 weeks. M - There're over 500 pages of the book will be finished for 21 days. A - I will read about 25 pages one day. R - It's necessary to improve my knowledge T - 15/10/2021
My marketing goals in the remainder of 2021 is for Shot by Lawal to have 5000 followers on IG with minimum of 10% engagement. Which all convert to me getting a photo gig worth #150k four times in a month
My goal at the end of 2019 was to increase traffic to the DataPolicy website from around 400 unique users by 50%. Fortunately, in June 2021, we already had around 1,100 active users. Almost 5 times the increase we were expecting!
The strategic plan started in mid-2019. One pillar page, five cluster topics with some selected keywords. I decided that our clusters should be published all at once in November/2020 with a link-building structure rather than a weekly frequency. I decided this because the team was junior and I had to help with all the internet text production details!
However, something happened in the middle of it that is worth telling! From December/20 to February/20 it was already visible the increase in traffic until an explosion of 7,000 users on the site in March/2020! Wow. Can five clusters do this? I believe the goal was achieved...
But, the lack of consistency and frequency of publications in early 2021 did not allow for the progression of website traffic. We are stuck between 1.200 users and 1.400 each month.
Important note: don't stop writing, and especially don't write without a plan!
Another SMART goal was to increase DataPolicy's social media followers by 10 percent. I was unsure, kept my aim low. But luckily the goal was reached in 2 months. And the growth has been constant since then. Our growth was 1000% Facebook, LinkedIn for example. How? Posts around 3 times a week, minimal daily growth hacking actions, some webinars during the pandemic period with themes for the personas we have.
The new Goal is now to increase engagement with content by 20 percent in 6 months. The steps will include more variations in a format such as videos, infographics. These are two examples that we don't post as much as we should. And more storytelling content, our weak point.
Smart Goal: to get a Hubspot Certification in Content Marketing by Sept 30th, 2021
Specific: working towards a set & particular goal —the certification
Measurable: easily track progress by percent complete of the course
Attainable: can be achieved at the pace I'm working at by my self-imposed deadline
Relevant: I'm currently searching for a new position as a Content Marketing Associate + many of the positions I'm applying for use Hubspot content marketing best practices so it would help me with interviewing + getting acclimated to my future position
Timely: the date of 9/30/21 is near enough to keep me motivated yet I can realistically fit it into my schedule with my other priorities
