What content strategy has worked for you the best?

Creating a successful content strategy often depends on understanding your audience, your goals, and the platform you're targeting. Below are some strategies that have proven effective across industries:

1. Audience-Centric Approach

  • Know Your Audience: Develop detailed buyer personas to understand the pain points, preferences, and goals of your audience.
  • Provide Value: Focus on solving problems or delivering information that addresses your audience's needs.
  • Engagement Over Promotion: Encourage discussions and feedback rather than overtly selling products or services.

2. SEO and Content Optimization

  • Keyword Research: Use tools like Google Keyword Planner, Ahrefs, or SEMrush to identify trending and relevant keywords.
  • Optimized Structure: Create content with clear headings, bullet points, and engaging visuals to improve readability.
  • Regular Updates: Keep content fresh and updated to maintain search rankings and relevance.

What content strategy has worked for you the best?

Who is the brand: Google Play Business Community

Tagline: We are play

Mission and purpose: Celebrating the global community of people building apps and game businesses in Google Play founded by coders

Who is the audience: Innovative, underappreciated, unknown app developers using video game-based technology to advance new frontiers in science, medicine, and other industries that will positively transform society. Also, Journalists and marketers who want to share their story, teachers, scientists, medical professionals, surgeons, innovators, and more.

What challenge are they helping their audience to overcome?

Underappreciated video game developers who dedicate years, incredible effort, and endless energy, and capital  to  create and develop game-based technology to help businesses transform how we work and live to make a positive impact on society.

But how do they spread the news and share what they're doing and show its impact to:

  • Attract investors
  • Gain early adopters
  • Build their brand and raise awareness
  • Grow and expand their user base
  • Cut through the video noise and other click-bate

How they do it: Google Play Docuseries  provides the perfect video platform to capture their audience with the magic of social media that catches fire and ripples out to positively impact small communities and large universities and other places all over the world.

I watch videos for the memorable, engaging story that touches my heart and  prompts me to learn more about the product and the company.

While researching healthcare marketing companies to reach out to for freelance copywriting, I  supersleuth their website and LinkedIn profile posts, comments, likes, and shares to learn about their mission, values, and what’s most important to them. I’m looking for marketing with the human touch.

That’s how I encountered this video that captured my heart and inspired me.

Google Play Docuseries uses the magic of business storytelling to capture your heart and pull you into the story. Here’s what I mean:

Essential Story Elements

Characters:

Setting: Chicago, small  city with BIG dreams

Dad, a renowned anesthesiologist, and medical leader, always exploring new frontiers in medicine and medical education

Son-Sam is a highly successful, Emmy award-winning  video game developer

Conflict: Comes from a long line of doctors-his wife, father, aunts, and cousins

All  except for him, he’s the “black sheep” in the family

His dad is proud of his accomplishments. But really wants him to do something more worthwhile with his life, more meaningful

Sam has always wanted to please his father. But no matter what he does, he's unable to do it until he becomes a hero

The Turning Point: Sam’s dad challenges him to create a medical game for doctors

What I love about the video is how the camera takes us into the everyday life of Sam’s world.

What content strategy has worked for you the best?

For my business the content strategy that has worked for me majorly is publicity and referrals. I go direct to market places to meet with these business people and stores, telling them what I provide and when I get one customer they tensd to make referrals to other people about my services.

What content strategy has worked for you the best?

For me and my business the content strategy that worked best was targeting used car dealers and individuals selling their vehicles on marketplace. I would comment saying something along the lines of being knowledgeable on how to properly notarize and how they shouldn't go to a bank becaus ethey don't educate themselves how to properly notarize.

What content strategy has worked for you the best?

Brand: Organic Mini- supermarket

Audience: People looking for nutritious yet good for the health

Challenges: Organic food are safe harvest food with no fertilizers or chemical used. Compared to other food that are not organically planted, prices may differs. Challenge might be depends on consumption, could be higher if you're going to buy from supermarkets in the city but lower from other urban locations. The more clarity is that based on experience these foods are more tastier, sweeter vegetables and fruits than the non-organic foods.

what i plan on doing is to create a questionaire form for staff and authorities asking them about the kind of content they would want to reflect on the company's page.
