Regardless of the story you’re trying to tell and how you’re trying to tell it, storytelling has three essential elements:

  • Characters
  • Conflict
  • Resolution

How are they doing it?- Coca-Cola company understands the importance of people health and give them the opportunity to  fully enjoy life,always be refreshed  introducing a wide variety  and different flavors of non-alcoholic drinks with no calories and no sugar.

Who is their audience? Everyone who loves athletes 

What challenge are they helping their audience to overcome? They're helping their audience experience comfort with foot wears and other sport clothing

How are they doing it? They don't just showcase their brand with athletes, rather, they use ordinary people to showcase them so as to communicate that "you don't have to be an athlete to have the experience".

Who is their audience? Individuals interested in fashion from young children to adults even more mature individuals, men women and children.

What challenges are they helping their audience to overcome? How are they doing it? Their challanges can be regional preferences and fashion trends, they are adapting to regional preferences and changing fashion trends by mantaining a consistet brand image, but also by adapting to market dynamics., shift in consumer preferences, economic conditions and competitive landscape., by modifying the market approach, offerings or pricing strategies including seasonal discounts.

  • Who is their audience? Anyone who is under the home improvement umbrella (homeowners. home builders. contractors. DIYer's and fixer-uppers)
  • What challenges are they helping their audience to overcome? How are they doing it? Home Depot provides a one-stop shop for all things home improvement. Any project under the roof can be completed using their inventory, experts, and competitive pricing. Home Depot achieves this through advertisements, partnerships with local vendors, network sponsorship, in-house experts, and social media.

The brand I choose is Kotex sanitary napkins. Their target audience is gen Z girls from 16 - 24 years old with abundant, youthful energy. Outstanding personality is generous, open and welcoming to positive changes. However, that confidence is diminished when girls get their period during Tet because of old and unscientific prejudices that "In the first month of the year, you lose your happiness and the whole year is unlucky." To eliminate all those worries, Kotex has introduced a new perspective of considering menstruation as "bad or happy because of you", the message was created to strike a chord with girls' psychology and serve as encouragement for women. Women can control their perspective and enjoy Tet.

The brand that I have chosen is one of my favorite skincare brands called Nivea. Their audience is the youth and middle aged people, between the ages of 18 years and 45 years. But people of all ages can use their products, as they help in tackling dry skin. Their mositurisers are long lasting, affordable and come in light weight bottles. Their products are available on ecommerce stores such as Nykaa and Amazon. Nivea promises to deliver high quality products and their user testimonials is a proof of that, they also use the power of social media to reach their audience.

    The Foundation Collection focuses on visible hair health, strength, moisture, and shine. They are accomplishing this by providing patenteded and tried and tested products like shampoo, conditioner, oil and more.

Their audience: Young children and adults (who were also once children), no matter what gender or ethnicity, who are still struggling in living and longing for miracles to come or for their wishes to come true.


What challenge are they helping their audience to overcome? How are they doing it?

Disney is helping their audience to keep on believing in life and in themselves, no matter what the circumstances or hardships by making lots of meaningful and emotional stories through films and TV shows which leads to happy endings at the end. These help the audience to feel related, be understood with the main or side characters and then feel hopeful by the happy endings.

Audience: Runners and walkers need comfortable yet functional shoes.

HOKA has a vision for creating shoes that “let people fly down mountains”.  Hoka shoes are better for people and better for the environment with their sustainable practices.  They offer a  wide variety of running and walking shoes for every type of foot, from pro runners to neighborhood walkers and mountain hikers.

One of my favorite brands is Ulta. 

They are a Beauty Retailer that strives to supply a wide variety of brands and products that can be easily accessible in the same place. 

Their target audience is mostly women, especially 20s-30s years old who often buy nicer make up and hair products. 

They struggle with inflow of in persons shoppers and continuing brining in consumers who want in person assistance. The upkeep of in person stores is expensive and can be difficult to maintain with such a rise in online shoppers.
