    Today, trends related to clothing and lifestyle travel across the globe at lightning-fast speed due to the presence of social media. We are in an era of fast fashion and unsustainable clothing standards. While there is an emerging wave of conscientious efforts towards discouraging fast fashion, there is a big gap to be covered. In India, where we have a high population of youngsters, students, and professionals, having homegrown brands solves several problems due to less packaging, domestic deliveries, and reasonable costs. We cannot vouch for the manufacturing process of all small brands yet but homegrown brands offer trendy options while being environmentally safer, geographically aware, and relatable due to their knowledge about the land.

From teenager to middle age. Their audiences are people who care about discrimination practices and want a good experience not only about shoes but also about values they can bring to the community (especially for charity)

What challenges are they helping their audiences to overcome? and how are they doing it?

Newbalance aims at championing active lifestyles, children's fitness, and community wellness. They are helping the children to overcome health issues and focus on preventing childhood obesity. For these challenges, NB is investing in academic, medical, and clinical-care partnerships with world-class universities and medical institutions. they invest in initiative schools with physical activities and nutrition education, academic excellence and teach children the importance of obesity prevention.

Millennials or Gen Z adults have a busy schedules and don't always have the time to cook a healthy meal due to several common barriers. For example, they do not know how to cook a certain meal and then have an excess of ingredients that for a meal they might not make again.

  • What challenges are they helping their audience to overcome? How are they doing it?

They send their customers weekly meals with instructions and the proper portion size for either a family of 2, 4, or more. Everything a person needs to create a meal without living at home, ordering the food, or some other food service, if the customer likes the meal they can feel the card that has the instructions on how to make the meal. They do this by allowing the customer to choose what meals they will receive every week and giving them the option to opt-out for a week, as well as offering meals for different dietary needs.

Mostly nursing mothers and parents with babies within the age of child birth to 2/3 years old. Nursing mothers, specifically because babies aren't aware enough to purchase items yet.

 

WHAT CHALLENGE ARE THEY HELPING THEIR CONSUMERS OVERCOME?

Pampers diapers is the world's number 1 leading brand aimed at helping nursing mothers take care of their babies in the aspect of waste excretion I.e  (popping & urinating). Pampers makes life easier for nursing mothers as it helps parents ensure thier babies excrete easily without feeling discomfort either in their sleep or while having fun. Parents can easily clean their babies waste and manage thier hygiene effectively with pampers atleast till the baby is grown enough for potty training.

Apple

 

Who is their audience?

People who enjoy having their lives easily connected. For me, I enjoy Apple because my phone, laptop and watch are all connected and I like that I can easily access my data from any of these devices. 

 

What challenge are they helping their audience to overcome? How are they doing it?

They're helping their audience remain connected and they are doing it with hardware and software that feels easy to use. Their items also have a long life span and that just makes it feel like you get value for the money you pay.

Yaga. They are a South African online marketplace for selling and buying pre-loved clothing.

 

Who is their audience?

Their audience is anyone looking to sell or buy clothing. Their audience is thus universal, anyone who owns or wants to own clothing, but because they specialise in second-hand clothing, the audience can be narrowed down to the more eco-friendly, budget-conscious or entreprenurial person or fashionista.

 

What challenges are they helping their audience overcome? How are they doing it? 

By providing a platform dedicated to the buying and selling of pre-loved clothing, which is much safer and convenient as well as user-friendly than let's say Facebook/Instagram Marketplace, Yaga is the one-stop-shop for quality clothing for the individuals that face economical, moral and aesthetic challenges. The people that can't afford new clothes, or prefer to thrift because fast fashion has been proven to be a toxic environment (many fast fashion brands source their clothes unethically) or because they can't find what they are looking for in stores, can all use Yaga. Yaga also offers an opportunity for people to not only save money, but also make some! The e-commerce site can be used to buy and sell clothing as an indivual, making their customers money as well.

The brand that i really love is none another than Volvo. Volvo is that kind of brand who makes cars with great features like but it is famous for their safety features. No doubt their cars are luxury so wealthy people can afford this.

Anyone who want to buy a volvo car or the person who preffers safety, no matter how expensive is this.

The challenge they are helping their audience to overcome is desire to want luxury and featured car which is fully secure. The customers have desire to buy a volvo car no matter how much is expensive however Volvo also make some low budget cars for average people which attracts the customers towards them.

their audience is the rich people who have a strong passion for super cars and want to prove to others that they are wealthy by buying a Lamborghini. They are also targeting people who are not really rich but still want to own a Lamborghini, as they want to feel good and have others pay close attention to them. They are willing to take out a huge loan or do whatever they can to own a Lamborghini.

The challenge they are helping their audience to overcome is the desire for luxury and exclusive cars. They want to have it no matter what because it is a dream car. Lamborghini has already solved this problem for their target audience by creating affordable, prestigious sports cars with eye-catching design and a ton of good features, making their audience satisfied with their decision.
