Hi! I'm Shereen, a Content Specialist at the firm Pixentia. I write and edit content for the company website. My background is in journalism, so I'm now learning the ropes in marketing.

My employer, Pixentia, is a value-added reseller of Human Resources technology products and services, including the delivery of learning technologies. Pixentia is headquartered in Texas and has two locations in India. It sells HR tech products, systems and services to clients around the world.

I am excited about learning how to craft enjoyable, informative and concise blogs and articles that motivate visitors to explore the company's solutions some more. So I am developing a new library of marketing writing "gurus" whose style is unique, fresh and spot-on when it comes to delivering a message well. This kind of writing is a new learning curve for me, and something I find I am enjoying. It has entirely different norms and expectations than those for writing newspaper stories, that's for sure.

I am a deputy comms director at the largest Mexican development bank, which means I am in the finance/banking industry.

I am learning about marketing in general and because I am basically a journalist, content marketing is a key developing area for me. I do listen a lot about football and baseball. Every week I listen to Peter King, Adam Schafter, and Baseball Tonight. In the marketing field I also listen to Gary V and Simon Sinek.

I highly recommend any of those guys. 

Now, I am working in the 2022 campaing for my bank looking for new ideas about content.
