Hey everyone! I'm Jen Merkel and although I have several years of experience, I wanted to join this group and course to further my content skills. I currently work from home (Melbourne, FL) with my very special coworker, Karma Boo Bear VonWigglebottom (a Welsh Pembroke Corgi).

• What's your current role?
  • Currently seeking a position in Content Marketing Strategy or Demand Generation.
• What industry do you currently work in?
  • My last position was for a B2B SaaS company in Higher Education. I have experience with all different types of companies, however.
• What excites you most about content marketing?
  • I am a born creator and a lifelong writer. My head is full of more ideas than I can get down on paper, so creating compelling content with the purpose of growing an organization is my jam.
• Do you have a favorite blog, podcast, video series, or newsletter that you would recommend to other content marketers?
  • I follow Neil Patel religiously. He himself puts out a ton of short form content that dazzles me with statistics which either validate my strategies or convince me to take another look.
• Any new content that you’re working on right now?

What excites me most about content marketing:
