Improving your content creation process

Your content creation process should be something that's clear, repeatable, and organized. It's important to evaluate your process from time to time to see how it can be improved (for you and those you collaborate with).

Before you create your next piece of content, what's one thing you could do to improve your current process? For me, I'm going to create a survey via a Google form and send it to those I collaborate with to get their feedback. The easier I am to collaborate with, the more people will want to work with me.

I'll start by clearly defining my goals and understanding my audience's needs. I'll plan content ahead using a calendar for consistency and streamline research with trusted sources and current trends. My focus will be on writing clear, engaging content optimized for SEO with relevant keywords. Efficient editing for errors and clarity, coupled with feedback collection, will refine my work. I'll distribute content on the most active platforms for my audience and use analytics to track performance and adjust my strategy for continuous improvement.

Whenever I create content, I focus on making it simple. I tend to think that I'm creating a piece of content for 5 year olds, which helps me streamline how I think, and what should I post. I'm not a fan of using technical terms and jargon.

Before creating the next piece of content, I will consider how potential customers will react to it, which is the most important thing. They will have different comments about our team's content creation process, maybe they will have feedback on our content, image quality, or keywords. Furthermore, I think an evaluation framework should be created from the beginning with criteria, or percentage levels of work completion.

First of all,my aim is to know about my target audience, what are their needs, interest and preference and I will go on researching and then I write it engagingly by using conversational tone, focus on benefits and incorporate storytelling techniques.

My usual content creation process is asking for the content brief, which includes the target audience, their CTA, the content's tone, etc. After gathering all the needed details, I researched and searched for blog posts from websites in the same industry to grasp the tone. Finally, I write down the key things I want to include in the content through a series of questions I will be answering one by one and formulate it into one engaging content. The draft will then be sent to the supervisor for review.

Review analytics from similar target markets and see what interests them most to guide the content process.

There are many steps I follow to improve my content creation process which is: Who is the audience for this content? Where this content will be posted? (e.g. webpage, SMS message, social media, etc...)and which style of writing I will be using while creating the content. Also, I keep in mind that I have to make sure that the content matches the company's brand.

Improving your content creation process

To improve your content creation, you have to consider the audience; are they going to like it or not, then know the goal of your content and deliver on it.

Very True. But u should also surely consider your competitors. A survey sample size are generally smaller which sometimes cannot give you the right picture.

To start to creat a great content,it will come up with ideas on how the audience react. If the audience find it interesting and helpful to the needs of the audience. This may help to build a fundamental content in social media.

Prioritize your audience; increasing interest in and, eventually, sales of your good or service should be your main goal. And only if you truly comprehend your audience will you be able to accomplish it.

The first step for me will be taking all i have learnt right now and putting it into practice to create a content creation framework as i do not have one before now.

One improvement could be to establish clear milestones and deadlines for each stage of the content creation process to ensure timely progress and accountability.

I would send the company guidelines to everyone on my team so that we produce content that meets the needs of our clients and supports our company mission.
