Your content creation process should be something that's clear, repeatable, and organized. It's important to evaluate your process from time to time to see how it can be improved (for you and those you collaborate with).
Before you create your next piece of content, what's one thing you could do to improve your current process? For me, I'm going to create a survey via a Google form and send it to those I collaborate with to get their feedback. The easier I am to collaborate with, the more people will want to work with me.
Creating or improving one's content creation process
Everyone has a unique way of handling their content creation process - some prefer to be spontaneous approach wherein they just start writing while others like to have have their steps clearly defined to avoid last-minute panic attacks/deadline misses. I'm among the latter half.
My content creation approach is static with some dynamic steps. For example, I start with an in-depth research on the given topic and competitor analysis, if necessary. This is followed by finalising the content structure/flow/framework, content tonality and business intent (AIDA). The third step is setting the tentative deadline. I only start writing once I've completed these steps.
Obivously, my content creation process doesn't end here. After I've completed the writing part, I try to ensure that the write-up is SEO-friendly and plagarism-free. The piece is then reviewed by an editor/SEO specialist to fortify it's ability to drive organic traffic.
I could be more concice about dealines for myself and definetly have a strogner framework overall. Maybe also set some SMART goals for my content creation journey. What other mentioned and what also stood out to me was to align the content with the buyers journey, which i want to be more inentional with in the future.
Before you create your next piece of content, what's one thing you could do to improve your current process?
Build a framework for creating content. Have a process in place that details each step from content idea all the way to publishing content. Identify campaigns, set timelines, review and edit your content before it goes live. Measure and track the impact of your content on business goals, then ultimately evolve your content strategy.
I would say what stood out to me is to align the content with the buyer's journey and I would definitely be more intentonal about it. Creating a content framework that is flexible to changes is also very important to avoid creating a whole new framework when there is a deadline or a time-frame in this dynamic industry. As a result, I will be doing a lot research on this to apply it to my Content Creation Framework.
Before I create content, I should definitely create a timeline to set deadlines for myself and keep me accountable. I tend to post content "only when I have time" or when I'm movitvated, but I realize that this method isn't getting me the results I want!
To improve content creation, keep it simple, plan ahead, and research your topic well. Make an outline to organize your ideas, set achievable deadlines, and use tools like grammar checkers. Listen to feedback and learn from it. Practice regularly, experiment with different styles, and stay updated with trends. Lastly, analyze your content's performance using tools like analytics to see what works and what doesn't.
come up with a desirable content creation framework by conceptualizing my content, planning and designing creative workflow, reviewing and editing my conted before upload and having a good storage platform for my content. This will ensure inclusivity in attracting target market and offer unique experiences to individuals.
Going forward in the future, I feel as though I would benefit from determining and planning a timeline in which my content is created as well as keeping my specific goals in mind when doing so.
One major thing that I could do is tailor content for each persona to each stage of the funnel, rather than simply focusing on the personas at a high level
First, I should set a clear goal for what my brand wants to achieve. Then I need to do more research about what the trend is and what my user wants to read. Thus, I can make content that is in line with our brand but also relates more to the current issues and fulfills what my users need.
i think that to improve our content creation process we need to stablish our principal goal and the secondary goals to have a more organized process, detail what are our strenghts and weak points so everybody have to do what they are best at.
There are many ways that could help me improve my content creation process, but i think by evaluating my strengts and by improving my weak points i could improve in general, i could also use diferents metods that could help me to clearly defined my main goals and the goals of the projects i develop.
There are definitely a couple of ways to improve my content creation process, but if I had to choose just one, it would definitely be conceptualizing content and tailoring it to the buyer's journey. I have tons of content, but it was hard to create the right asset without guidance/structure like the buyer's journey. The examples in this lesson made me want to rethink the content I already have.
To improve our content creation process, I believe several steps are crucial. First, we should clearly define each team member's role and skillset. This will allow us to effectively assess and leverage our team's capabilities.
Second, a basic understanding of the domain knowledge is necessary for each project. This ensures our content remains relevant and targeted.
Third, clearly define the company's main goals and the goals of each project is essential. This provides a roadmap for content creation, tasking, and maintaining focus.
Fourth, implementing a flexible deadline framework allows for adjustments while keeping the project on track.
Finally, cleaning and analyzing the data provided by the company and leadership is vital. This data provides valuable insights and informs our content strategy.
