Your content creation process should be something that's clear, repeatable, and organized. It's important to evaluate your process from time to time to see how it can be improved (for you and those you collaborate with).
Before you create your next piece of content, what's one thing you could do to improve your current process? For me, I'm going to create a survey via a Google form and send it to those I collaborate with to get their feedback. The easier I am to collaborate with, the more people will want to work with me.
first and for most, understandin the need of the consumer, analysing market trends, what fits the best, creating tailore based framework for the reachability and lastly connecting to the audiences .
Yes I do believe that Google surveys get everyone on board to the page before moving any deeper into your research and everyone in your team can do the best work they can
Hi Kara, your way of improvement is a good way to start. I love to follow that steps in sharing how does the team would like to work together and then select a system like Slack, Asana or Trello that everyone can use. I believe each project has its own challenges so I will be flexible with it as well.
We have a ton of content that was designed for the consumer side of our two sided platform. They are mostly insteresting "cooking stories" about our customers journey to becoming an adventurous home cook. I know I need to start creating content that is aligned with the business needs of our paying customers - food producers. The question is - do I maintain two types of content? Should I go back and revise my original content to be more impactful?

Improving your content creation process
I will take time to study feedback I get from my customers and see areas of emphasis and improve on that. Furthermore, I will read widely on best practices of content creation.
I will do well to understand my audiences and educate them depending on what they are looking for . Focus on their journeys and create the right content for every stage. When I have come up with the right content, I create a work flow and define roles to my team. Everyone will be accountable for each role. This will build team work and an effective result in creating content.
I'll have to do some research on my chosen topic to come up with ideas on the different stages of the buyer's journey. This will simplify my work and make everything a lot easier.
First set realistic timelines that everyone in the team agrees with and also set some time to study the audience and the market you are trying to attract.
Studying the market, the buyers, and each level the buyer is at is essential to content creation. You need to be able to create content for all levels. If you need to create awareness you need to create content to open the buyers' eyes to your product. If they are in the desired stage, you need to make your product more appealing to the buyers. And if you are trying to close the deal and make a conversion, your buyer needs to be pusher over the edge with your content. So in many regards, knowing exactly where your buyers are, how they are feeling, what is the market pushing them to do, will be key to your content creation.
I agree. You need to provide lots of content to move the process from curious to prospective to buyer. Sometimes that's hard to know what will make the difference but more is better than less. Visibility will help, not hinder the decision making.
