Your content creation process should be something that's clear, repeatable, and organized. It's important to evaluate your process from time to time to see how it can be improved (for you and those you collaborate with).
Before you create your next piece of content, what's one thing you could do to improve your current process? For me, I'm going to create a survey via a Google form and send it to those I collaborate with to get their feedback. The easier I am to collaborate with, the more people will want to work with me.
One thing I can improve in my content creation process is using the buyer's journey to guide how I approach my process. I had not previously considered the 3 different stages and what is the best content that can be employed per stage. Now I feel like I am more aware of what is helpful for each of the stages.
we can try to write content on daily basis this can wrok as an exercise and help us improve. The content can be on anything like if you are working in corporate you can write content on your industry-based companies or if someone is student can write content on latest trends, fashion, etc.
Ensuring that each individual is aware of their responsibilities and that all stages of content creation align with the house style of the brand. This creates consistency for the brand's image
One thing I could do to improve my current content creation process is to develop a clear content calendar that outlines deadlines, goals, and responsibilities for each piece of content. This would help me stay more organized, ensure consistency, and make collaboration easier by giving everyone involved a clear view of what’s coming up and when. Having a visual timeline would also allow for better planning, reduce last-minute rushes, and give collaborators more time to provide meaningful input.
I can improve my content creation process by breaking down my entire process into much smaller more specific steps and focusing on completing those tasks. This will allow me to ne more organized, help me stay on track and consistent, and improve my overall content efforts and results.
I will start documenting my content workflow more clearly, like outlining each step and setting realistic timelines. I have notice that when things are more transparent, it's easier for everyone to stay aligned and avoid last-minute chaos
As i have just stared my journey i'll be focusing on organizing my goals and set deadlines like: Study and research about the project for a week the WEEK2: make sure before starting next project you're done with the first one, to make sure i stay in track without skipping anything
Since I am working alone running my own blog it is hard to keep myself accountable. The next step will be do determine a timeline and try to follow it while writing. I should also set clear expectations for myself and keep in mind the expectations of the readers
Setting deadlines, with this in mind, the team will have a bit of pressure to finish certain assignments on time. This can also improve the flow of how fast something needs to be done as mentioned with the previous point above and thus allowing people to move on to newer assignments too. With deadlines involved it can also push people to not doing things last minute(e.g setting deadlines for each phase of content creation like drafting, feedback, analylizing)
How can you improve your content creation process?
Two things:
1) Knowing who you're speaking to
2) Creating a system
You can't hit a target if you don't know what you're aiming for. The main takeaway from this course thus far is having a buyer persona founded in research and backed data, understand their goals and challenges, and create content to address that by providing valuable information that is connected to the topics of your business. It's important to note that you can be aiming for a target audience at different stages of the buyer's journey (awareness, consideration and decision), know who you are speaking to and having the content purpose clarified. Another thing I want to hit on is having a seamless content creation framework. Creating a system around the production of content will provide consistent and repeatable results, not only saving time and energy but also driving business growth.
