Your content creation process should be something that's clear, repeatable, and organized. It's important to evaluate your process from time to time to see how it can be improved (for you and those you collaborate with).
Before you create your next piece of content, what's one thing you could do to improve your current process? For me, I'm going to create a survey via a Google form and send it to those I collaborate with to get their feedback. The easier I am to collaborate with, the more people will want to work with me.
I need to set aside 1-2 days a month to plan ALL my content and store accordingly so its easy to access. Also take more time to optimise my content so my work can flourish 🙂
I can see that just starting to do the basics would help. Freelancing has meant I have done everything ad-hoc, just got on with it and only having a plan in my mind of what should happen. I really should, and will, start documenting it.
The organizing aspect is definitely something I could improve on; especially my canva projects & desktop saves. I should start utilizing my digital planner more.
I need to actually create a framework. I'm the only one in my department so I do things on the fly. This looks like it could really help organize me so I know what stage I'm at with each project.
I think you can improve your content creation by unserstanding what goes well in your social meida, what posts get the most attention. Also unstanding your community and knowing what they think to see/ watch. Another way is keeping your content organizated, have a spreedsheet shared amoung all the managers and list all your content ideas and the day you are going to post them.
that is an amazing idea but for a starter it will be somehow difficutl considering that content creation, wiriting editing and optimizing your content not forgetting reviewing it is done solo
I have my instagram channel name "Grow_With_Areaya" i plan to make a content calender for a month so i can post accordingly and perfect timing so i can get good views and can reach to target audience
With Chat GPT coming into the picture, I find repetitive patterns and monotonous styles. I want to move away from those styles yet abiding to the SEO aspect. We can leverage those AI platforms maybe for framework, outlines etc. It's the time of smart work over hard work.
I think one major thing im going wrong in the content creation is assinging roles and due dates, since i dont assign the content piece to a particular person, so now i got to know how much this step is important in building a content framework.
I'm really enjoying the digital marketing certification course!
I'm going to do a content audit to see what's performing well and what might not be working so I can get more focused on content that my audience values!
"It has become significantly more straightforward for us to assess the content we produce, as the individuals with whom we are collaborating often possess a deeper proficiency in the domain. Their expertise allows them to offer critical insights into the success rates, potential pitfalls, and challenges within the field, as well as to illuminate the risks we might encounter in the future."
If I'm collaborating with a new client and stil testing the waters. I can ask for feedback more often. Say I'm asked to write a bunch of articles on a given topic. I will write suggested titles and outlines first before writing full articles. I can then ask the client for feedback if these drafts meet their needs and expectations

Improving your content creation process
To improve my content creation process, I will start by identifying my target audience's needs, interests, and pain points.
Next, I will generate content ideas by analyzing competitors, researching keywords, and using tools like BuzzSumo, Ahrefs, and SEMrush.
I will organize and strategize content creation and distribution to achieve specific goals, setting clear objectives and scheduling content.
Then, I will produce high-quality, engaging content that entertains, informs, and educates, using diverse formats.
To increase visibility, I will optimize my content for search engines with relevant keywords and meta descriptions.
Additionally, I will repurpose my content to extend its reach across different platforms.
Finally, I will monitor my content's performance using metrics like engagement rates, conversion rates, and keyword volume, adjusting my strategy accordingly.
By following these steps, I will create engaging, high-quality content that resonates with my audience and supports my marketing goals.
My process is often not repeatable. I tend to look at every piece of content as it's own unique thing, rather than a small piece of a larger framework that I am working within. Creating systems and organizing content that achieves specific objectives rather than general goals will help make content creation more repeatable, and will save me a lot of stress in the long run.
One thing I could do to improve my current content creation process is to develop a clear content brief template. This template would include all the essential details for each piece of content, such as:
Target audience: Who the content is for and their specific needs.
Purpose and goals: What the content is intended to achieve (e.g., educate, entertain, convert).
SEO strategy: Keywords to target, headings, and meta descriptions.
Tone and voice: The style in which the content should be written.
Deadlines: Clear timelines for drafts, reviews, and publication.
Collaboration needs: Input or approvals from collaborators (and by when).
By having a structured brief, I can ensure alignment with everyone involved and reduce miscommunication or revisions. This will save time, keep the process organized, and make collaboration smoother for all parties.
