Improving your content creation process

Your content creation process should be something that's clear, repeatable, and organized. It's important to evaluate your process from time to time to see how it can be improved (for you and those you collaborate with).

Before you create your next piece of content, what's one thing you could do to improve your current process? For me, I'm going to create a survey via a Google form and send it to those I collaborate with to get their feedback. The easier I am to collaborate with, the more people will want to work with me.

One improvement I could make to my content creation process is to establish a content checklist. This checklist would include all essential steps, such as research, outlining, drafting, editing, and final review, along with deadlines for each stage. By having a clear and organized workflow that everyone can refer to, it would not only help keep the project on track but also make it easier for collaborators to see what’s needed at each stage. A checklist ensures consistency and helps identify areas for streamlining, making collaboration smoother and more efficient.

The process that needs to be improved is  Planning and strategy, this is where you lay the foundation for your content by aligning it with the overall marketing goals and with a target audience(persona).

Hi Kara! I usually am the one creating content for my team, so the tip about naming files correctly will help when I want to find this content later. I am searching for something I created months ago to reference for a new post too frequently, and with a streamlined file naming system, it will be a lot easier to recall those files.

For me. it would be to outline a more detailed content brief before starting, including a clear purpose, target audience, and a checklist of SEO considerations or content goals.

For me, it would be first step to create a survey and next it would be research about the content that are most viewed similar to the content that i want to create so that i can get ideas and what can be added to my draft content.

Personally, my content creation strategy could benefit from organizing content into clear and distinct categories based on subject and intended platform.

Improving Content Creation Process

Before my next content creation, I'll be focusing on gathering insights to clearly define my goals and audience. Having a solid foundation will ensure that each piece of content truly resonates and drives value. I'm looking forward to see how this approach will elevate my content.

One way I would say I use to Enhance my Content Creation game is researching. The more I research about the topic, more I get to know different perspectives, ideas and facets on the subject. It also educates me in many way, so that, I can build quality content for my audience.

Another way will be getting feedback and reviewing previous works. Through this, firstly, I'll get raw look out on my content and will get to know what people need, changes I need to make and questions that I need to solve. Secondly by reviewing previous works of different people working on similar subjects and topics, I'll get inspiration and knowledge about what people is looking forward to in my content.

An effective content creation process should be clear, repeatable, and well-organized. It’s important to periodically review your process to identify areas for improvement, both for yourself and for those you collaborate with.

Before I create my next piece of content, I will focus on finding ways to improve my workflow. One approach is to ask for feedback from the people I collaborate with, to understand how I can work more efficiently and make the collaboration process smoother. This way, I can make collaboration easier, and more people will want to work with me.

I'm planning to set up a Google form to gather feedback from my collaborators on what’s working and where there’s room for improvement. The goal is to make our process clear and organized for everyone involved. When the workflow is smooth, content creation becomes a much easier and more collaborative experience.

To improve my content creation process, I’d begin by creating a Google survey, shared across social media, to gather insights on my target audience’s interests and demographics, such as age groups. Next, I’d conduct research based on the feedback to identify the types of content my audience prefers. With that information, I’d align these insights with my content pillars, resulting in a streamlined, organized content creation process that’s both detailed and audience-focused.

To improve my content creation process, I'm going to set up a content calendar to keep everything organized and ensure a consistent posting schedule. This will help me plan ahead, avoid last-minute stress, and allow me to strategically align my content with important dates and trends. I'll also incorporate feedback sessions with my team after each content release to identify areas for improvement, making future content creation smoother and more collaborative.

I can improve my content creation process by partnering with a Search Engine Optimization specialist so my audience can find it in web searches and also organizing and storing my content by developing a clear naming system for the sake of repurposing and re-using.

One thing I can do to improve my current content creation process is to collaborate with key stakeholders who'd influence and be affected by the content. These are work colleagues and customers. Eliciting ideas from colleagues and needs and expectations from customers via an strategic feedback system is key to improving ones content creation process.

I would categorize my content according to the content pillars created and align my research of the buyer personas to SEOs and relative content. Once everything is categorized, I would create a process that includes all of those involved in the content creation. We can arrange for the days we plan on shooting content and list all of the things we'll need. Once we have what we need, I would schedule the content using a scheduling system and viola - the content is alive and well with continuous monitoring and Bob's your uncle.
