Your content creation process should be something that's clear, repeatable, and organized. It's important to evaluate your process from time to time to see how it can be improved (for you and those you collaborate with).
Before you create your next piece of content, what's one thing you could do to improve your current process? For me, I'm going to create a survey via a Google form and send it to those I collaborate with to get their feedback. The easier I am to collaborate with, the more people will want to work with me.
First I want to review my goals to make sure that my content is genrally taylored to get more leads and sales, then I want to do a wide social media survey in order to get an idea of whats currently trending in my niche and aline that with my customer profiles in the 3 steps of the buyers journey, then create a workflow for creating content based on those profiles, then create a quarteryl schedule to hit all content objectives across social media, after that the content creation process its self. After all that we review content, fianlly we optimize for seo, store in a generally accessable location like google drive and finally go into the process of iteration.
To improve the current content creation process, it may be smart to start with researching previous ways other brands and companies did their content creation or maybe send out survey questions
To improve the content creation process, we need to identify the content that we're creating by the buyer's journey stage and say how a piece of content links with the product/services we offer.
In order to improve content creation practices at my current company there needs to be a more consident framework document to specify publishing dates, due dates, approvals/edits. Overall, the process just needs more organizations.
I'd have to say that through Trello and workflow management systems, I can improve the content creation process. Through these, I can efficiently check the relevant roles and how much needs to be done in order for the content to be polished before publishing. With my collaborators, the system can also disseminate what information is finished and what needs to be done. It proves for a more effective and efficient workflow in the content creation process.
I’ll set up a more detailed workflow on Monday.com with clear stages for each piece of content—like Ideation, Drafting, Review, and Publishing. By adding columns for deadlines, priorities, and notes, the team can stay aligned on expectations and easily track progress. I’ll also enable updates for each task so collaborators can provide feedback directly, which will streamline communication and reduce the need for extra meetings.
Using Monday.com in this way keeps our process transparent, organized, and accessible for everyone involved.
Communicate with the content creation team by clearly defining roles and always leaving room for feedback and adjustments. Allowing sufficient time to get quality content published instead of only caring about meeting deadlines. Use surveys or teams meeting specifically for discussion and feedback - kind of like a group brainstorming session.
Through feedback: i'd consider using a QR code poll and apply tools like Google Forms then print a QR code for my teammates to scan with their phone and vote digitally
One effective way to improve your content creation process is to establish a content calendar. This calendar will help you plan and schedule your content in advance, allowing for better organization and time management. It can include deadlines, topics, platforms, and key performance indicators to track success. This not only keeps you on track but also enables collaborators to know what to expect, making it easier to coordinate efforts and align goals.
