repurpose it by updating the information, and perhaps adding a new offering or CTA that the taget audience is intersted in.

Repurposing content into different formats - such as a blog post repurposed into a podcast, quotes, or short explainer videos - extends its value.

One way to repurpose blog posts is to convert them into e-books. Like if you have a beauty blog, you can convert the blog posts into an ebook that serves as a comprehensive beauty guide. The blog posts can also be converted to social media content by tailoring the content to fit each platform and audience.

An example of a piece of content that I've written recently is a blog post that contains the top 5 tips for building a social media strategy. I could repurpose this content by converting it into a carousel for LinkedIn and Instagram.

For example, my instagram reel about typical day in coworking space I could repurpose by writing a blog about it. I could also do a podcast where I would interview different coworkers about their day in life. I could write some tips of how to use the most coworking space in a day.

I can utilize this by trying to appeal to the masses by being a bit more creative and relavent with my art, maybe using a well know picture and sneaking my art into it somewhere so it grabs the attention of my audience alot easier.

I can do this by utilizing different forms of content under one theme. For example, I can use a video with a voice-over to highlight key points, or turn it into an audio podcast. It can also be done with photos that can be turned into a video. With one theme and various formats, the audience can still be reached in different ways.

I created an information list infographic. I can extend this piece of content through blog post and Instagram using the infographic as visual.

here is the process of extending the piece of content

1. create a checklist, in order to ensure everything is done

2. identify if anything needs to be reworded or changed and what needs to be added

3. Include call to actions in order to take the users to my other channels

4. considering how my target audience consume content and keeping the buyer's persona in mind and buyers journey

I could generate snippets from a blog post and share on social media. I could also convert the blog post to an audio recording to address the needs of a podcast-listening audience.

I can do this for my own podcast by turning my most listened audio podcast into video podcast. Then for the company / brand (The 8Wonder Idea), turn the social media posts into video reels with a background voice over, ask that the designer create an infographic summarizing key points and republish on the website or share on social media.

I have a blog on my website where I give free, valuable tips on freelancing and content writing. I can repurpose those blog posts into an eBook, which I can promote on social media (Instagram). I can also repurpose it into a video and embed it at the top of each blog post.

To extend the value of my next piece of content, I could repurpose it into different formats. For example, I could turn a blog post into a video or podcast, create an infographic summarizing key points, or share smaller snippets on social media. This way, I can reach more people in different ways without having to create entirely new content each time.

Repurposing it across various platforms and formats helps extend the value of the next piece of content. For example, a blog post can be transformed into social media snippets, an infographic, or a video to reach different audience segments. Content should be updated periodically with fresh information or insights so it can remain relevant and valuable over time. Sharing the content in newsletters or incorporating it into webinars can further amplify its reach and engagement.

I have an old blog series on Career Profiles to highlight different career paths and how people made choices in high school and post-secondary, which led them to where they were at, at the time. I would like to update this by reaching out to the participants and getting an update focused on what they have done to advance their career as experienced professionals. I may start by sharing some of the content to different social media channels. I am currently doing some research in the "career disruption" topic and would like to highlight how people have changed or enhanced their careers by doing this. I would continue to do my research and other blog posts - sharing snippets on youtube, my blog, instagram and other platforms like Linkedin. I'd love to start a guide on How To Reinvent Yourself... stay tuned!

I would look into which of my platforms is receiving the most viewers and I would look to repurpose my content into that platform. I could break a blog post down into shorter emails, or several social media posts. I could beef up an email and repurpose it as a blog post, or I could break it down into social media posts that draw followers to the original post/email.

I can extend the value of my next piece of content by organizing your content into what was most popular before and repurpose it breaking it down into video shorts, edits, or providing links to the full blog, video or product into your edited repurpose content

Repurposing content is a great way to extend its value and reach a wider audience without having to create new material from scratch. Here are several strategies to repurpose your next piece of content into new formats:

  1. Create Infographics: Transform key data, statistics, or insights from your content into visually appealing infographics. Infographics are highly shareable and can make complex information more digestible.

  2. Develop Slide Decks: Convert the main points of your content into a PowerPoint or Keynote presentation. This can be useful for webinars, workshops, or presentations at conferences.

  3. Produce Short Videos: Break down your content into short video segments. You can create tutorials, explainer videos, or summary clips to engage viewers who prefer visual content.

  4. Write Blog Posts: Expand on different sections of your content to create detailed blog posts or a series of posts. You can explore subtopics or provide additional insights related to the original content.

  5. Generate Social Media Posts: Extract key quotes, tips, or highlights from your content to create engaging social media posts. These can be used across platforms like Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn, and Instagram.

  6. Design E-books or Guides: Compile and expand upon your content to create comprehensive e-books or guides. These can be used as lead magnets to attract new subscribers or customers.

  7. Develop Email Newsletters: Use the content to create informative and engaging newsletters. Summarize key points and include calls to action to drive traffic to your main content.

  8. Create Podcasts: Convert the content into podcast episodes. You can discuss the topic in detail, invite guest speakers, or answer questions related to the content.

  9. Host Webinars or Live Q&A Sessions: Use the content as a basis for webinars or live Q&A sessions. This allows you to interact with your audience in real-time and provide additional value.

  10. Make Checklists or Cheat Sheets: Condense the content into actionable checklists or cheat sheets that offer quick tips or steps. These can be handy resources for your audience.

You can repurpose a blog post by turning it into infographics, social media posts, videos, podcasts, or slides. A video can be broken down into short clips, a blog post, a podcast, or an infographic. For a podcast, you can create show notes, blog posts, social media content, or video clips. An e-book or guide can be adapted into a blog series, infographics, social media posts, or webinars. Lastly, webinars can be repurposed into recorded videos, blog posts, slide decks, or social media clips.

Repurposing content is a smart way to maximize the value of your efforts and reach different audiences. Here are some ideas for transforming your next piece of content into various formats:

1. Infographics: Convert key points, statistics, or processes from your content into visually engaging infographics.

2. Social Media Posts: Break down your content into bite-sized insights or quotes for social media platforms. Use different formats like text posts, images, or short videos.

3. Slideshows: Turn your content into a slide presentation for platforms like SlideShare or for internal team meetings.

4. Videos: Create a video summarizing your content. This can be a tutorial, a talking head video, or an animated explainer.

5. Podcasts: Record a podcast episode discussing the main themes of your content, perhaps featuring interviews or deeper dives.

6. Ebooks or Guides: Expand on your content to create a more detailed ebook or comprehensive guide on the topic.

7. Blog Series: Split the content into a series of related blog posts to explore different aspects or angles in more depth.

8. Webinars: Host a live or recorded webinar based on the content, allowing for interactive discussions and Q&A sessions.

9. Email Newsletters: Summarize your content in a newsletter with links back to the full piece, or create a series of emails that expand on different sections.

10. Checklists or Templates: Develop actionable checklists or templates based on the insights or recommendations from your content.

By repurposing content in these ways, you can reach a broader audience and get more mileage out of your original work.
