cause rss.xml to become canonical to avoid duplicate content error
I am using semrush to find errors on my website. It found that one of the RSS.XML files has three ways to point to it and I want just one of them to be canonical. The other two links have ?hslang=EN and
?hslang=en-us added to it. This makes the crawler think there are three different XML files when there is actually just one. How do I fix this to avoid this error.
Do you have multilanguage pages/blogs setup on your HubSpot website?
If so, the RSS will be multilanguage so you have an rss.xml for the different versions of the blog. If you don't have multilanguage pages or blogs, you might want to disable this, contact support to make sure this is done right.
I also don't believe that this would be such a huge SEO red flag for Google since they know that "?hsLang=en" and "?hsLang=en-us" are language tags.
