Before you start redesigning your site or making big changes to your site structure we recommend running a scan of all your pages. If your current site is not on HubSpot you can use external tools to crawl all pages and audit the current state of your site.

Take a moment to consider the following question:

Do you know how many pages, blog articles, subdomains, and landing pages your website has?

nowing how many pages, blog articles, subdomains, and landing pages your website has is key to managing content and SEO. In HubSpot, you can find this under Marketing > Website Pages, Blog, and Landing Pages, where each type is listed separately. To view subdomains, go to Settings > Domains & URLs. Tracking these elements helps you monitor site performance and plan updates efficiently.

Honestly, I’m not entirely sure how many pages, blog articles, subdomains, or landing pages my website has, but I know it’s grown over time and probably has more content than I realize. I’ve added posts, created new sections, and launched a few campaigns with dedicated landing pages, but I haven’t done a full audit lately. It’s something I need to look into—whether through my CMS dashboard, a site crawler, or Google Search Console—so I can get a clearer picture of my site’s structure and make smarter decisions about content strategy and optimization.

I make it a point to keep track of my website’s structure so it stays organized and running smoothly. I know how many pages, blog posts, subdomains, and landing pages it has, which helps me monitor performance and keep content up to date. Regularly checking these also ensures a better user experience and supports stronger SEO results.

An essential component of maintaining and enhancing your website is being aware of its page count, blog posts, subdomains, and landing pages. This aids in your comprehension of your site's dimensions, organization, and functionality. You can determine how much content you have and whether it is well-organized, for instance, by counting the number of pages. Monitoring blog posts reveals which subjects draw readers and how active your content strategy is. You can more effectively manage various areas of your website by identifying subdomains, such as blog.yourwebsite.com or shop.yourwebsite.com. Since landing pages are where visitors convert, such as by signing up, making a purchase, or getting in touch with you, it is imperative that you keep an eye on them. You can get precise information about each of these components by using programs like Screaming Frog, HubSpot, or Google Analytics.

Yes, I keep track of my website’s structure to ensure it stays organized and optimized. I know the exact number of pages, blog articles, subdomains, and landing pages it contains. This helps me monitor performance and update content when needed. Regular tracking also improves user experience and SEO results.

Knowing how many pages, blog articles, subdomains, and landing pages your website has is important for managing your content and SEO strategy. You can easily find this information in HubSpot by checking the Website Pages, Blog, and Landing Pages sections under the Marketing tab, where each content type is listed separately. To view your subdomains, go to Settings > Domains & URLs, where you’ll see all connected domains like “www” or “blog.” Having a clear count of these elements helps you track your site’s size, monitor performance, and plan future updates more effectively.

I kept it tight in this new iteration of our website with only 27 pages. Next, we are working on adding more blog pages and landing pages.

Greetings. I'm brand new. So no, not for sure.

But I think I have made one web page draft with about 5 or 6 sections. One subdomain. No blog articles yet.

I don't think I have a landing page yet. I'm in Academy learning to build a website and marketing.

Any offer of help or tips is welcome. Thank you!

I currently manage a website with approximately 50 pages, including 20 blog articles, 3 subdomains, and 15 landing pages. While I have a general idea of the site's structure, I realize how valuable a comprehensive scan is before making significant changes.

Using tools like Screaming Frog SEO Spider or Sitebulb, I’ve been able to crawl and audit the site to identify any outdated pages, broken links, or duplication issues. This has helped me prioritize which areas to optimize or consolidate during redesigns.

Do you have a favorite tool or strategy for keeping track of your website's structure over time? I'd love to hear about how others manage this!

Our last site build was a little haphazard because the scan wasn't completed internally but by the new designer. Things got missed that we had correct later. We found most when a customer let us know that a link wasn't working. I wasn't a part of the team during the redesign, but I did help correct it.

Great tip! Assessing the current state of your website, including pages and structure, is vital before any major changes. Running scans, especially if not on HubSpot, helps ensure a smooth and informed redesign process.
