Creating a vacancies search area

SOLVE

Hi all

I am about to start the process of ripping apart some old expression engine areas of the website and turning them over to Hubspot CMS designs instead. One of these is our company vacancy area, which has roughly 70 vacancies at the moment, add or subtract a few every week.

I would like to do the following:

  • Have a template our recruiters can use to create vacancies (easy enough)
  • Have a 'search' page where key content can be pulled from the individual vacancies area to the search page.
    • Vacancy title
    • Location
    • Salary
    • First 100-200 characters of the summary
  • Have search filters, defining things like Salary, type, specialisms, etc

Reed.co.uk is a great example of what I need in action: https://www.reed.co.uk/jobs

I'm pretty comfortable with most things but this is definitely a new area for me, I suspect there will need to be a database of sorts to get this to work. A little helping hand in telling me where to start and getting it to work on hubspot would be really handy.

Any advice, guidance or support you could offer would be greatly appreciated!

That would do it! We have yet to switch over to CMS but I am hoping this will happen in the new year.

Looks like hubdb opens up quite a few areas for development I've been looking into recently
