Payment Link not accepting payments

SOLVE

Hi all,

I have a product that I am selling on my website but I can't get it all to work. 

Clicking on the button to buy on my website redirects to the HubSpot payment link with no issues but when trying to complete the purchase I get the below error (see screenshot).

I have tried the TEST MODE option on the payment link and that works fine. I have also tried using the TEST MODE link from my website and that works as well.

The issue appears to be with the live link and I can't work out why it won't work, either direct from HubSpot or via my website. The payment processor is Stripe and I believe I have that all configured correctly.

Any suggestions?

Many thanks @CatherineMonroe, I managed to fix it by deleting the Stripe association and the payment links then setting them all back up again. I have no idea why it happened but thank you for responding and trying to help

I had a look into this and found a Community post that goes over BACS (Bankers' Automated Clearing System) enablement for the UK market. Are you able to make sure your payment option settings are aligned with this?

@Alex_Elborn, and @Jnix284, I wanted to loop you in to see if you have any more ideas to contribute in this case!

Thank you for your efforts to help with this issue. I am experiencing an identical issue, but unfortunately deleting the Stripe association and payment link then setting them back up has not worked in my case.

 

The 'test mode' payment link works fine using HubSpot's test payment info, but anyone trying to make a real credit/debit card payment using the payment link gets the same "There's a problem with this page right now" error.

 

The previous link you shared was regardinng BACS, but this issue is with credit/debit card payments using Stripe.

 

Do you have any further suggestions of what may be the cause of the error?

No, we were not able to fix this. We are in the process of setting up an
Appointment Schedule in Google Calendar connected to Stripe instead as an
alternative. But this is not as flexible a method, so it is a shame the
HubSpot integration did not work for us.

Did you get HubSpot onto it? I started a Chat with a HubSpot team member
yesterday and she has sent it to their development team to take a look at
it.

Now you've said that, I'm not holding out hope this will be fixed. If it
doesn't get sorted out, it will be a massive negative for us.

We aren't currently in a position to pay for HubSpot and are on the free
plan, so our ability to ask the HubSpot dev team for assistance is limited
(which is fair enough!)

Hi FPowell, Just wanted to come and give you a little update on what's happended. So it turns out that you need to do some jigging around. Steps are below.

 

1-Disable BACS Direct Debit option in Hubspot under the Payments section in settings and click Save in bottom Left corner. 

2-Go to your Payment Links or Invoices etc that you have created that you want to receive payment online for, go to Settings and Disable BACS Direct Debit payment and click Save to Invoice/Payment Link etc. 

 

If you only want to recieve Card payments, thats all you need to do. If you want to setup BACS Direct Debit you'll need to carry on with the next steps. 

 

3-Go accross to Stripe and enable BACS Direct Debit option under Settings; Payments; Payment Methods; Bank Debits.

4-Wait until your BACS Direct Debit status on Stripe is ACTIVE.

5-Go back to Hubspot and Enable all settings previously Disabled above, don't forget to go back into each Payment Link, Invoice etc that you want to receive payment on and enable BACS Direct Debit.
