Hello! I've done some integration with Stripe and was wondering if there are similar features available in HubSpot Payments. In Stripe when creating a checkout session we can define an email address or customer id. Then when a user is directed to the checkout that email address is FORCED to be used and the textbox is disabled for changes. Is there a similar feature in Payments? We are worried about a customer changing their email during another purchase and the system creating a new contact instead of updating the existing record. I am aware of the quote system and how that may work in some way but we need to do this process dynamically. A quote will not exist yet. Many thanks!
Hi @CRoach5 - apologies on the delay here. You can actually pass through email address to a payment link by adding a query parameter to the end of the link. For example:

Passing Email Address to Checkout
Hey @CRoach5 , hope you're doing well today and had a nice weekend! This isn't a feature HubSpot payments currently has, nor have we heard much feedback around this. Ultimately you're correct that we deduplicate off of email address, so if a given buyer enters in a different email address, there isn't much our system can do about it.
I'm curious.... are you all seeing this happen quite a bit where folks enter in different email addresses? Would you say that this is specific to your industry? I'd love to hear more about your specific use case if you'd be open to sharing (feel free to DM me too)
