Customize Donation Receipt automatically emailed to Donor
SOLVE
Where do I go to automate and customize a receipt after a donation is made? It only sends out a receipt for the amount of the transaction. There are no details on our 501(c)3 info or anywhere to add a personal thank you. Any help would be great!

We are using Hubspot to do transactions rather than stripe. That would make it easy using stripe. I wanted to use a workflow to send an automatic email, however, I can't find where to do that. The last thing they do is hit the 'payment link' which doesn't have a workflow option. Hence my confusion. Unless I'm totally missing something.

Tanks @BérangèreL. Hi @CWRWarriors! HubSpot's payment link feature does not directly support workflows, but you can create a deal-based workflow to send a customized email after a donation is made.
First, make sure a completed sales through HubSpot payments creates and closes a deal.
Next, create a new deal-based workflow in your workflow tool, and set the enrollment trigger to detect when a payment is completed (e.g., deal stage or property update).
Then add an action to send an automated email, which can include the donation amount, your 501(c)(3) information, and a personalized thank-you message. (You might need HubSpot’s Transactional Email Add-on for this functionality, but I don't think it's a requirement - it just might help curb marketing contacts.)
