Challenges with Syncing Inventory Between HubSpot and Shopify

Hi everyone,

I’m currently managing an e-commerce store and using HubSpot to track customer data and Shopify for sales and inventory management. I’ve set up the integration between HubSpot and Shopify, but I’m running into some challenges:

  1. Inventory data isn’t updating in HubSpot when changes are made in Shopify, even though the integration seems active.
  2. Customer purchase data from Shopify sometimes doesn’t appear in HubSpot’s timeline or takes hours to sync, causing delays in automated workflows.
  3. I’m unsure how to handle scenarios where inventory sync lags might cause overselling or trigger incorrect email campaigns.

Has anyone else faced these issues? Are there specific troubleshooting steps or third-party tools you’d recommend to improve real-time syncing between the two platforms?

Syncing challenges can be tricky. For inventory updates, ensure the integration settings allow two-way sync and confirm Shopify apps or settings don't restrict data sharing. Delays in purchase data might be due to sync frequency limits—try manually syncing as a test.
