I’ve been tinkering with ways to get decent starter content out of ChatSpot to help streamline and standardize my writing process, and I think I’m figuring out that ChatSpot works best with super simple, super direct prompts, e.g.:
Write 150 words about this: [paste section of outline]
Write 10 social media posts using text from this blog: [paste blog]
Write me a 155-character meta description for a blog on [topic]. Please use the keyword [keyword].
However, I’m also looking at the suite of built-in templates and noticing that the prompts y’all have in there build out much more substantive prompts that feel a bit more like the ChatGPT ones I know and love (“Hey ChatSpot, I’d like you to act as my personal blogging assistant. Today, please write…”)
I’m not able to replicate that in my own prompts, tho—it seems when I try to prompt ChatSpot with anything beyond really simple questions, ChatSpot gets a little confused 😅(Which makes sense, I know it’s in its beta!)
Long post/didn’t read/here’s my question: Has anyone else here figured out reliable ChatSpot prompting strategies for content creators? If so, I’d LOVE to pick your brain….
Would you be willing to hop on a 20-30 min Zoom or call to answer some more specific questions about how we can make templates and ChatSpot as useful as possible for you?
@rrcorgan I've run into the same scenario - ChatSpot seems to be the place to go to "ask questions" whereas the built-in AI throughout HubSpot is more about creating content.
I can see your point about wanting to do all of it in one spot - just going to ChatSpot to ask any question you have, generate content, etc. but I think based on the messaging at INBOUND, HubSpot wants the AI to be part of your existing processes and available in the tools directly to remove any friction rather than making you go to another place, like ChatSpot.
I'm not sure this helps answer your question 🤷🏼♀️
If my reply answered your question please mark it as a solution to make it easier for others to find.
That's what I thought, too! And our team had come to a similar conclusion....but it seems like the goal is to make ChatSpot more of an all-in-one blogging tool. HS dropped this blog late last week:
I'd like to invite a couple of Community Members and experts to this conversation @SSwigart, @ecray and @Jnix284 do you have any suggestions to help @rrcorgan, please?
Also, if anybody else has anything to add and/or share, please feel free to join in the conversation🙂
