Receive calls within HubSpot in Germany

Hi,

if I understand we cannot use HubSpot provided phone number in Germany. Also there is no integration with Deutsche Telekom CloudPBX 2.0.

Is there anybody who found a solution how to receive and tracking incoming calls in Germany?

https://knowledge.hubspot.com/calling/manage-phone-numbers-registered-for-calling#acquire-and-config...

Thanks,

rh

I would also like to know more information about this.

We can use an external phone number perfectly for making outbound calls.

For inbound calls we have to give the customer (germany) an american hubspot telefone-number where the customer has to pay a lot of money?
This seems weird to me.

Hi @rh7,

Thank you for reaching out to the Community!

You can use the HubSpot-provided phone number in Germany, but we do not yet offer numbers with a German country code. So you could create a HubSpot-provided phone number and use it in your HubSpot account, but it will have a foreign country code: United States & Canada (+1) or the United Kingdom (+44). I hope this explains the limitation a bit better.

I wanted to invite a couple of subject matter experts to this thread to to see if they can share any best practices around setting up Calling in HubSpot if you're based in Germany and mainly talk to customers in the DACH region:

Hi @RomyFuchs1@franksteiner79, @fabianschmidt, do you have any advice for @rh7? Thank you!

Cheers

We have similar cases, we would need to give users a german phone number, as a caller ID which they could use for outbound and also inbound calls.  Any feedback on how to manage at least the outbound would be nice and preferably also any workaround for inbound.

It is important that German country code is used, the UK or other foreign numbers are often not answered as they foreign calls
