HubSpot /Air Call Call Quality

SOLVE

We use AirCall within HubSpot and Jabra headsets. Calling through HubSpot using the AirCall extension works for every single one of our employee's apart from one user. When he calls in the desktop AirCall app it works perfectly however when he calls through HubSpot with the AirCall extension customers say he sounds like a robot and the connection is really bad.

My thoughts are it must not be an Aircall issue as the desktop App works, it cannot be the internet connection as again it works on the desktop app so it must be HubSpot? He uses HubSpot on Google Chrome which is the same as every other user so I am confused as to what it could be. Does anyone have any tips?

Hi @SKeohan. Couple of thoughts. How many tabs or Chrome windows do they have open and doing things in? How many other apps/programs are also trying to use the internet on their computer at the same time. If it's a lot, it could be a localized bandwidth issue because the computer is trying to do so much.

Have you also run Task Manager (on a PC, or is this an Apple?) while he's making a call to see how it impacts his computer's Network stats? If the computer in question has multiple people logged in each taking up bandwidth, that would also make a localized bandwidth issue.

Have you had this user save/close everything, reboot the computer, and launch only Hubspot and AirCall and try a phone call to see how it sounds?
