How can I import existing customer data into the CRM system?
SOLVE
Hi everyone,
I am Darshan Hiranandani, currently exploring options for importing existing customer data into our CRM system, and I would greatly appreciate your input and suggestions on this topic.
Specifically, how do you recommend importing customer data into the CRM system? Whether it is through bulk upload, manual entry, or integration with external sources, I am interested in hearing about your experiences and recommendations.
This page walks through the individual steps of importing data into HubSpot. Can you have a look and let me know if you have any follow-up questions?
For any situation where you have more than a handful of contacts, it's preferrable to manual entry. An integration with a third-party system would only be recommended if there is a strong integration, e.g. Pipedrive. In this case, integrating would be faster than exporting / importing.

I'd totally recommend having your customer data in the CRM.
How you are going to brind it? well, this is up to you, depending in were it is today, how its formated
and if you already have all the requiered fields in the CRM.
If you need to clean up the data, work it out and them import, I'd suggest manually importing from a excel/csv.
If you have all the data up to date, all the fields/properties all ready in HubSpot you can do a sync/integration with any of the apps in the Marketplace. This will save time and avoid human errors. BUT you need to be 100% sure that the info is updated and accurate in source in order to have if complete in HubSpot. Also need to map perfectly the property types between both platforms.
Hope this helps
