Can you alter properties based on whether a lead has booked a call?

SOLVE

Hi,

I'm trying to build a workflow that gives a deal a certain property based on whether they have booked a call with the deal owner.

Is this possible to do?

Thanks

Can you alter properties based on whether a lead has booked a call?

Hey @MHarding27 ,

If the meeting is associated to the Deal, I would just do something like the below-

Just to note that I'm assuming that the property only needs to be changed the first time a meeting is booked that is associated to the Deal. If it needs to be changed every time, you'd need to add a property that can be used for re-enrollment.

Hope this helps, let me know if you have any more questions!

The contact got entolled when booked the meet and then the deal stage and pipleine of the assocoated deal was set.

Hope this helps!

SOLVE

Hi @MHarding27

yes, you can.

It depends of what do you want to use as trigger

this could be the meetings link form from HubSpot

or the meeting's outcome.

Custom code would be useful when you want more advanced filters or combination of different objects, etc.

Hope this helps

Hi @MHarding27 ,

You can certainly create workflow to update a Deal property when a meeting has been booked. The complicated part is checking that the Deal Owner and the user who has had the meeting booked are the same. I think that you should be able to do this via a custom code action in the workflow if you have Operations Hub Professional.

Thanks,

Thanks Louise,

How exactly do you update a deal property when a meeting has booked? I was looking at workflows, and there was no clear indication of how this is done. Does this need to be done with a custom code?

Thanks
